Gas for my blazer.. and any left over money might go to little nicknacks i might find at goodwill (most times you can find awesome vinyl in pretty good condition for a buck), or on coffee (hot mocha bianca), or on an order of himachi..which costs around $2

Uh oh...its the pancake bunny, distant relative of the jungle kitties

so now i've reached the infamous "'what makes me so great" portion of the profile.. i would have to say that what makes me so great is that i haven't lost my ability to be easily amused.. i was reminded of this the other day when i was working with some younger children at this reading volunteer thing i do once a week.. kids really don't have high standards for the most part.. and they are pretty content with the simpliest things.. so i'm working at the face painting booth.. and frankly my artistic ability as far as drawing is concerned sucks.. but anyway this kid comes up to me and is like "can you draw spiderman on my face!!" and i look down at the grid of things we can draw.. simple things like rainbows and hearts and whatnot.. but i don't want to dissapoint the kid.. so i decide to improvise.. i say.. "hey i can draw a spider web with a spider on it..." and the kid replies enthusiastically "OKAY!" so i go and draw this peice of shit web on this child's face with a little dot with some squiggly lines coming out of it with eyes to represent a spider.. when i'm finished the kid looks in the mirror... and i'm a little nervous thinking he'll be dissapointed..but the kid thinks it's the best thing ever.. he was so stoked about it that he gets his friend.. his friend think's it's cool as shit too.. so i draw one on his face as well...

so what was the purpouse of that long ancedote? to make a point.. i think around the age of 12 or so.. most people stop being easily amused about the small things in life.. they are so jaded that they don't take the time to stop anymore and appreciate the small things. i for the most part.. haven't lost that mechanism that keeps me easily amused and enjoying life.. i'm sure some of you have read my posts and it seems that i'm really cyncial and sarcastic..which i am..but i'm not completely jaded. I appreciate the small things.. and that's what i think makes me so great.
