Lorelei Posted July 9, 2008 Author Share Posted July 9, 2008 i don't think i'd go too in-depth into what i listen to - no one here's heard of most of it anyway music is extremely personal for me, i'll drop a few names here and there when relevant but i won't exactly express my passion for certain artists unless someone has the will to discover music that the 'average person' doesn't know about, i leave them to it. commercialism and conformity will suffice for most people. i had my musical/artistic epiphany a few years ago, and it's opened quite a lot of doors for me and i've learnt to acknowledge and accept every aspect of music and appreciate it for the aural art form it is. music can connote to so many things: culture, mentality, emotion, politics, skill itself, etc i think i'll stick with pretentious, you're in no way ready to presume anything when you've got nothing to go by peace Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But its all opinion at the end of the day, if you can't respect someone having a different one to yours you shouldn't talk about music in the first place.
