crimsonfire
Oscar was his name?! Oh. Not surprised. Saw Tyreese (aka Cutty Wise eeee!) and - I'm not even joking here - said aloud (in my head naturally) "Yeah black prison guy is fucked" because I didn't even know his name. Keth
Glen Mazzara leaves the show
Mr. Hakujin
WTF is even going on at AMC? I wonder if this Gale Anne Hurd chick has anything to do w/ the friction showrunners are apparently having there? I saw her on Talking Dead before and she looked two steps to the right from being a zombie herself. Kirkman seems just happy to be there, so I don't think he'd be causing static. Dan Harmon is free and works well w/ others; maybe he'll get the gig. WD could use a little Troy & Abed for some comedy relief.
alive she cried
Both parties acknowledge that there is a difference of opinion about where the show should be going forward, and conclude that it is best to part ways. Whenever there's a difference on where the show should go, it's usually the network that are acting the cunts. I'm getting a little nervous now. Panch
At least we got 2 and half good seasons out of it. Sigh.
Keth
Hes stayimg all through season 3 at least.... yeah im afraid its going downhill after this too though
Reverend Jax
Maybe it will, maybe it won't. This season has been great, despite Frank Darabont being gone. Seinfeld still maintained its quality when Larry David left. There are many examples of shows and movie franchises and bands and comics, etc, that thrive after someone leaves the project that everyone thought was indispensable. Just calm down. If season 4 ends up sucking, then you can say that you think it's because of Glen Mazzara's departure, until then it's just senseless panic. there is plenty of evidence that Mazzara has done a competent job, there is no evidence that he is the lynch pin holding the whole thing together. Panch
Yeah, but when not one, but TWO showrunners leave for questionable reasons then that's not good. I'm not freaking out, but I am lowering my expectations... just in case.
the division of joy
Way I see it, they've fantastic source material as is. It'd take an idiot to screw it up.
alive she cried
There is no evidence that he is the lynch pin holding the whole thing together. Like Panch, I fear the reasons why he left over him actually leaving. Way I see it, they've fantastic source material as is. It'd take an idiot to screw it up. The NZA
excellent point; ive always said Spawn wasn't oscar material because it deviated too far from the source
alive she cried
It's because of people like you that the 90's happened.

The NZA
listen to these uppity newjack comic fans! "i can't read anything pre-helix/vertigo." you must've been a hoot in the lunchroom, e-$
alive she cried
"newjack"? I've been reading comics for the past fifteen years. Surely we can all agree that except for Ben Reilly and Kaine the 90's was a terrible time for mainstream comics. Oh and I used to dream of having somebody to talk to about comics in the lunchroom. The NZA
oh you would say that, wouldn't you ASC - haha i know you read em, but you just got done calling em all shit! again your stance on even silver age is like hearing LL call all pre 1978 films shit, heh. we'dve been so cool at the lunch tables man
alive she cried
Name one story arc from the silver age that holds up as a genuinely good read. Not for nostalgia, or historical reasons, just on the merits of the story and art
the division of joy
Explain every comic book movie last century. Having not read the source material for every comic book movie made in the last century, I can't vouch for their quality. BUT SHUT UP I LIKED WATCHMEN AND V FOR VENDETTA!
