Breaking Bad

Fucking wow. I watched seasons 1 and half of season 2 back in the day, my hard drive then died before I could finish, and for some reason it took me until a week ago to redownload this. Up to date now, just watched season 4 finale....as I said, fucking wow.

Watching two and a half seasons in four days is quite and experience. But the finale just had everything, when I saw Gus walk out, I was fit to throw my laptop across the room and punched the air with happiness when he collapsed. Walt and Jessie on the roof I'm thinking great finale, but then the final reveal? I've had a horrified smile on my face for the last ten minutes.

So what are our predictions for the final season?

It's definitely set up for a Jesse/Walt showdown. Jesse will find out about his girlfriend and Brock, Hank will find out about Walt, but not before Jesse shoots Walt and/or he succumbs to the cancer.

p.s.

Sopranos spoilers

Will Walt walk away from his series a la Tony Soprano & Vick Macky or is he more likely to go the way of Ned Stark and Tony Montana?

Anybody that thinks Tony Soprano walked out of that diner is living in a fantasyland.

Yeah, there will be a showdown or two or three. All involving Walt of course.

The only one of those scenarios I can really say would disappoint/anger me is the cancer coming back. Walt's cancer was the impetus for his decent into crime, but he's been willingly going further down the rabbit hole long after his remission. I think his cancer doing him in would be a total cop-out. Walt has no one to blame for his troubles but himself. I think the best thing that could happen for him as a character would be that realization.

If you think there's anything definitive about that ending, then I'd say you're the one fantasizing. That's part of the brilliance of that last scene...

Through the heightened focus on particular sounds and actions, David Chase creates a sense of foreboding in the viewer, and in essence a sense what it's like to feel to be Tony--always wondering, anticipating, knowing something horrible could happen to you or your family at anytime. Even something as simple as a family meal has this looming sense of dread about it. And that's what this man's life is like and always will be like until the moment he dies. The occurrence of which is left open.

Heard an awesome radio interview with Bryan Cranston, and they were talking about the most embarrassing part you ever did.

Found his on youtube. He described it as "dramatic improv" or something, but it's basically a precursor to Springer. Only they pretend to be classy.

Anywho, skip around it if you want to see a really young Walt.

I can only hope skyler gets viciously and violently murdered. I'd like an episode long murder special. If they can do it for a fly in the lab, they can indulge the torture porn fans out there who want a vicious death for the cunt.

Somehow I don't think we'll see this happen. I'd LIKE to see it happen, but I think Walt and/or Jesse will be the only other major casualties.

Also, Saul is relatively "safe" as the show creator says he'd "like to do a spin-off series" w/ Saul in the latest issue of EW. Of course this means dickspit in terms of it actually happening, but it's still fun to think we could get another show in the Breaking Bad universe.

I'd love it if Mike or Skinny Pete or somebody just showed up on The Walking Dead and nobody ever said anything about it.

I've got it, Badger zombie.

On last night's episode

First five minutes are the last moments before he dies/last episode. Good season opener, poor Hank, you'll get him eventually. Also, what is everybody's problem with Skyler? She finds out that she's married to a murdering drug dealer and she's the bad guy?
