Iambaytor
You know, cheap K-Mart qualities of toys aside, that's a set of 3 and a half pretty solid Spider-Mans and a Smyth which I didn't even know existed. Plus you know you want any toy that does whatever James Spader can.
The NZA
that's smythe? i was thinking it was a naked Resident Evil reject.
Thelogan
Definitely Smythe. I had a Smythe toy from the animated series. Besides the befuddling exclusion of pants (but not boots...), I think this figure looks almost exactly the same. I'm also really pissed of at 'Baytor now for stealing my James Spader joke. I have snoozed and losed. Read this list and thought of few of 'em belonged in here... Get that shit out a here you crazy motherfucker. I could stare at those for hours and find dozens of new, wonderful things to admire.
Jables
Yeah, Todd Macfarlaine may be a hack of a human being and a shitty excuse for a writer(these days) but he still designs some awesome figures. The Gothic Wizard of Oz ones pictured above were the least of it. I loved the hell out of the Historical Maniac series, even had the Rasputin & Vlad the Impaler ones for the longest time. The NZA
that x-men tank guy (not Fitzroy, what was his name...), there was a period where my local toys r us only had him in stock. like, dozens. i was looking for a gambit figure, all i'd find was his lame ass. i like the Indy guy cause he looks like NES Karnov. that Wolfsbane though...my god. Iambaytor
Every store in the universe only had the Tank Guy in stock. I don't even know who he was, I remember he was a boss in that Punisher game for Sega Genises where you could play as Nick Fury. But that's all I know. Thelogan
Ughhhh. I remember Bonebreaker from an issue in the late 80's. He was the leader of The Reavers, and I think he may have died in the same issue he first appeared in. Apparently the Marvel marketing team was obsessed with him. Iambaytor
Are the mowhawk and twin M-16s supposed to make up for the fact that his tank part is now tiny?
Mr. Hakujin
Oh God, this brings back painful memories. All an 11-yr old me wanted was the Joker from this line-up and all the toy aisles ever fucking had was a peg-full of this baldheaded bastard. Iambaytor
That goblin king is pretty great, he could even play the part of Pearl when I play with my Blade action figure which is actually a Star Trek Insurrection Jordi Laforge action figure that I scribbled sunglasses on with a permanent marker. Thelogan
He was also in an episode of the X-men Cartoon and he was a boss in both the X-Men arcade game and the Punisher Genesis game. In the comics he was quickly defeated by The Manister, whose mutant ability to turn into a steep staircase (and banister) proved to be Bonebreaker's achilles heel. Iambaytor
Is this real life? That's probably the laziest movie tie-in toy I've ever seen. But kids love Angry Birds so I guess that's what that's all about.
