it's a nice LE, i just dont see using the pillowcase/boxers/where ima put that pizza box. i only consider these things from atlus cause i wish idve jumped on the persona 4 one before it got dumb-expensive, and newt got a cool jack frost guy from another title.

I haven't played the demo. Don't intend to. I'm committed to taking the plunge on this one. I was worried however after talking to some people who had played the demo. SEEMS a lot of people "don't get it". It's getting rave reviews though! Can't wait to get my special edition in the mail!!

yeah again, ive gone through the demo like 3x so far, and am now excited for it. i can totally see the "not getting" an atlus game about sexuality, commitment and puzzles, but it sounds like you know what you're in for. here's to hoping it doesn't end up being one of my game of the year contenders and making me wish i bought the LE like you (god knows i'll never get Teddie from persona 4 now).

Question:

 

Did you have to play through the game 8 separate times to get all the endings, or could you jump back to saves to change your karma?

You can jump back. If you make a separate save at the start of the Quadrangle with neutral karma, I think you have enough decisions to get you full red/blue moving forward. At full either, you can definitely get the good, true, and bad endings associated provided you make a separate save at 9-2, since an ending is based on the decisions you make in the confessional in 9-2, 9-3, and 9-4 as well as your karma. You can get Good Freedom ending at any heavy law/chaos run.

So, was talking with a friend of mine about the game and...

 

 

he starts telling me how he really liked Erica and how she looks like a female Ronald McDonald (it's actually true!!). To which, I reply "or a post-op male Ronald McDonald, lol!". He chuckled, but one of those chuckles were you can tell they don't really get the joke. I mention the whole Eric/Erica thing and he has NO recollection of that revelation! He remembers Toby wanting his V-card back, but he somehow missed the whole sex change revelation!!

Catherine: Full Body Announced for the PS4 and PS Vita

 

Atlus has announced that a remake of Catherine will be released for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, called Catherine: Full Body.

Developed by Studio Zero, a live stream for the game will take place on December 22, 2017 at 7:30 JST.

• Development is a collaborative effort between Atlus and Studio Zero.
• [There is a new] third “Catherine” named Rin (voiced by Aya Hirano). She is a pianist at Vincent’s regular bar, and has an exceedingly honest and gentle personality. Rin’s involvement in the story will introduce new branches for the other two “Catherines.”
• A large amount of new endings, episodes, anime movies, and sexy events are being added.
• The subtitle “Full Body” was chosen from the wine term, and exemplifies an even richer and somehow more erotic new Catherine.
• There is cross-save support.
• The new “Catherine,” Rin, is described as a healing existence that assists the nightmare-ridden Vincent and shows him new values. While her speech and conduct give off an aura of considerably lacking in common, she is a very straightforward and gentle character.
• The scenario is mainly being made by full-time staff.
• The wide range of difficulties and convenient systems being prepared will enable people who are interested in the story to enjoy the game until the very end.
• In puzzle action stages, there is a new mechanic where you have to think about not only how to move cube-shaped blocks, but also blocks in a state where multiple are connected.
• You can switch between new and traditional modes during the story.
• There was unexpected excitement for the competive mode overseas, so online battles are being included.
• There is more than one new ending.
• Development is currently 50 percent complete.
• A release date and price are still to be announced.
