La Lindsay
best picture winners usually have mass adult appeal. they are rarely "artsy" films. the king's speech would be more of a "best picture" type of movie. so, yeah.
Aartemys
The show was very predictable and pretty slow. I did enjoy James & Anne's attempt at humor... James Franco dressed as Marilyn Monroe will forever be ingrained in my brain... The musicals skit was fun, too... Anne's dresses were gorgeous... Mr. Hakujin
Here's the list of winners, Panch. So it was a very predictable Oscar's. Nothing jaw-droppingly exciting, but still a good show. Here're my highlights: -Kirk Douglass & Sandra Bullock were the best presenters. -Russel Brand and Helen Mirren also had a funny bit as presenters. -Randy Newman (NOLA native!) had the best acceptance speech. -Christian Bale & Aaron Sorkin also gave good ones. -Song and score performances were great -Auto-tune skit was great -Jennifer Hudson was smoking hot. -Scar Jo looked sickly pale, but was still hawt. -King's Speech robbed Fincher of his Oscar--which really should've gone to Nolan whom wasn't even nominated. -I want to punch Anne Hathaway in her giant face. Not looking forward to her as Selina really at all now. -The montage for the best pictures before the award was given was pretty moving. So how was Reznor on stage? He was a bit boring. His wife looked super-hot though.
