Iambaytor
Yeah, those are odd accessories; hammer, power drill, pliers, and what looks to be a spoon. Really? You don't remember the significance of these accessories?
Reverend Jax
Maybe if it came bundled with a governor figurine, then he'd get it.
Iambaytor
Possibly. Hakujin, suffice to say that if that was a Mr. Blonde figuring it would come bundled with a gas can, a straight razor, and a boombox that plays only ironic 70s pop songs. Mr. Hakujin
She used a spoon on him? I need to re-read that arc...
Panch
She used a spoon on him? I need to re-read that arc... Seriously? I believe that was the most significant of all the utensils used. Oh man, I'm getting grossed out just thinking about it *shutter*
Iambaytor
She used a spoon on him? I need to re-read that arc... You really do, that was the cherry on top of the whole torture sundae.
Thelogan
For some reason, I was really preoccupied by how unsanitary that spoon was. Torture is one thing, but she's gonna give the guy an infection.
Mr. Hakujin
New figures coming out from the TV series. Preview pics include the zombie Rick puts down at the end of S1E1, Well Zombie, and Crazy-ass Bald Shane.
Keth
Goddamn that Shane toy looks as creepily realistic as those Avengers toys. Also it'd sweet if the floater could rip in half
alive she cried
Also it'd sweet if the floater could rip in half Sure looks like it to me, check out that crack along his stomach.
Thelogan
Y'know, it would make a certain Pancho very happy if this thread were renamed "The Walking Dead". You wanna give him an early birthday present Haku?
Mr. Hakujin
Michonne Poncho variant for SDCC 2012. Meh. Bloddied sword and fig are nice, but the poncho looks terrible.
Reverend Jax
Dude, you missed the best part! The Michonne figure comes with a SPOOOOOON!!!!!
Mr. Hakujin
The original one does as well.
Mr. Hakujin
Not sure if this a three pack that will be for sale or what, but it looks sweet.
The NZA
that one looks great indeed, but they already bent her katana.
Mr. Hakujin
heh. i noticed the bent blade as well. i really hate this soft plastic they use on swords nowadays. stupid fuckin' toddlers pokin' out eyes ruin it for everyone.
The NZA
yeah, exactly. i mean, i know that (and cost-effeciveness) are reasons why, but then why should any kid have that as a toy? then again, future generations will look at the metal transformers we could've killed ourselves with and possibly ask this. Mr. Hakujin
The new GI Joe figs seems to have it right when it comes to sword molds. It's not that old skewl hard plastic that would snap in two, it's a softer plastic, but it holds it's shape much better than the plastic used for Michonne's sword or those int he new Thundercats figs. Don't even get me started--fucking Sword of Omens on the 6" Lion-O bends and the 3.75" Lion-O figure's sword is wavier than MJ's hair circa Bad. Oh, I'm sorry. Did you want to talk about the weather or where you just making chit-chat? ;) Edited July 20, 2012 by Mr. Hakujin spoiler fix??
Thelogan
Can anyone else click that spoiler? I can see it if I quote, and the code seems to be fine. Could be a problem on my end.
Keth
Not workin for me either.
Mr. Hakujin
Can anyone else click that spoiler? I can see it if I quote, and the code seems to be fine. Could be a problem on my end. Heh. Nothing worth clicking. Just a Groundhog Day reference made in a semi-self deprecating manner. Works for me. Should work for err'ybody now b/c, ya know, wouldn't want anyone to miss a single word I wrote.
Thelogan
Huh. Yeah, it works now. Sorcerer.
Mr. Hakujin
If only the great action figure inferior plastic sword travesty could be remedied so easily.
Mr. Hakujin
New series of TV show based figs are out. The zombies look good, but Rick and Shane look terrible. McFarlane used to be an industry leader, but I think they're now just hiring whomever can tolerate to work for Todd for more than an hour as a sculptor. And apparently those people are all blind and/or have Parkinson's.
