Newtype Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Maybe they should rename to "Ryo QTE Adventure: The neverending story". Quote
The NZA Posted November 27, 2012 Author Posted November 27, 2012 maybe...it did get 2 more chapters than Last Guardian + FF XIII Versus combined tho Quote
Newtype Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Can you really compare 2 games to vaporware? Quote
Newtype Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 We need to make a list of games that has crossplay and which one gives you a vita copy when you buy the PS3 copy. Quote
C_U_SPACECOWBOY Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 (edited) Yessss, my brotherhood of bros expands. Â Just realized I can get all the Marvel Tables I bought on PS3 for free on Zen Pinball 2 for VITA. Always loved pinball on portables, all the way back to Revenge of the Gator on Original Gameboy. Â One by one I'm taking down your high scores Mal! Its ON! Â Added bonus: Now all those trophies I will never achieve in Marvel Pinball will show on my list twice! The NZA Posted November 28, 2012 Author Posted November 28, 2012 We need to make a list of games that has crossplay and which one gives you a vita copy when you buy the PS3 copy. Â looking at PSN store @ Vita now, they list: Â Foosball 2012 Hustler Kings MLB 12 The Show Playstation All-Star Battle Royale Retro City Rampage Sound Shapes Srar Drone Extreme Street Fighter X Tekken When Vikings Attack! WipEout 2048 Quote
C_U_SPACECOWBOY Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Street Fighter X Tekken has Cross-Play, but not Cross-Buy. You need to buy each separately, but Vita and PS3 players can play with each other. Quote
Keth Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 I dunno if you guys already knew, but I just popped on Shadow of the Colossus and it started an update (launched back in Sept) which allows vita crossplay. Also includes ICO and the God of War Collection apparently had one too. Again this is probably old news, but if you didn't know these are some awesome games that, if I had a Vita I wouldn't mind being able to play on there. Quote
Jables Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 My copy of Retro City Rampage came with a portable copy! Â I'M HELPING I'M HELPING! Â Holy shit it's been too long since I felt the sting of a game not released in my country. I spent a goddamned week trying to find that thing in the PS store on every device and means. fucking stupid socialist experiment i live on. Quote
Jables Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Oh what. Medicare, higher sin taxes to provide for a 80% population dependant on Centrelink(welfare) benefits, and an almost Rockwellian response to culture. Quote
The NZA Posted December 7, 2012 Author Posted December 7, 2012 a) your gov't is by no metrics socialist b) there is nothing inherent in the socialized systems you're referring to that connects to your criminal island gov'ts weird/puritan choices in what games are allowed. i.e. the same free market capitalism over here had nothing to do with why 2 Live Crew got banned years back etc Quote

I read Mal's post was was dissapointed, but then I read up on what remote play actually is....  So I can turn on my PS3 remotely from anywhere over wi-fi, and play Shadow of the Colossus/Ico or GOW collection remotely with my VITA?!?   Damn. How the hell did I not know that!? And I OWN a VITA. Sony is criminally under using and under advertising the capabilities of this baby.   Such a shame... Quote
Maldron Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 EDF Vita on Jan 8th. This news is mostly only Newtype News, though NZA will feign excitement. Quote
Newtype Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 They lost a sale from me when it went digital download only. Quote
Maldron Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 All you ever buy is licenses. Doesn't matter if it's cartridge or not, all you ever get is a license. Quote
The NZA Posted December 21, 2012 Author Posted December 21, 2012 *feigning excitement, then avoids the debate where mal is wrong about licenses* Quote
Maldron Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 *Shrug* There's a bunch of legaleze on the back of most game discs and in most manuals letting you know that you're buying a license that they reserve the right to revoke. Quote
The NZA Posted December 21, 2012 Author Posted December 21, 2012 they write all kinds've things in EULAs and software agreements on boxes - the latter doesn't hold up often in court though, which is why none of us pay it any mind. Quote
