The NZA Posted September 24, 2013 Author Share Posted September 24, 2013 see i didn't blame the magical gymnast daughter as much as i did her screentime...yeah, flipping over raptors is dumb but the whole thing felt unnecessary. reasons for going back to the island at all weren't compelling - you can't just toss an actor back into a great role with a hollow script and hope for magic. 2 was already an uphill battle after the magic of just seeing the dinos was gone, but - and it's been forever - at the time it felt like it answered that with just laziness overall. 3 kept this trend, but gabbed Grant instead. Iambaytor Posted September 24, 2013 Share Posted September 24, 2013 I liked the second one but the eco-plot (which effectively made the protagonists the bad guys) was dumb. It still had some great set-pieces though, some memorable dinosaur action, and Peter Stormare urination so it's worth a watch, it's also a lot meaner than the first one. Other stuff was wrong with it, but there was enough dino mayhem that I generally like it. Three was not very good. The "talking" raptors. The bad animation. William H. Macy.
