Reverend Jax
It's weird to think of this movie has being less than a year away now because there are two more Marvel films that have to come out before it. We get the next Thor in 3 months, the next Cap 5 months after that, and Guardians 4 months after that, then it'll be almost a year until th next Avengers. Newtype
And then we get Ant-man a few months later after the avengers.
Reverend Jax
Bradley Cooper is playing Rocket Raccoon.

Keth
I was hoping for a more recognizable voice myself. He seems like a boring choice. Sure itll be fine though.

Iambaytor
See, I think that would work. Though I've no problem with Cooper either. I did always kind of imagine Rocket Raccoon with a gruffer Nick Nolte-ish voice, but Cooper should be fine.

Newtype
Guardians of the Galaxy was back on top of the international box office this weekend; the movie added $23.1 million for a new total of $405 million. Most of that came from China, where Guardians eased 28 percent to $22.3 million. Reports that bad subtitles were causing poor word-of-mouth seem to be unfounded. To date, Guardians has earned $69 million in China, and has a legitimate shot at ultimately reaching $100 million. The 10th movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has now grossed $733 million worldwide, which is ahead of Captain America: The Winter Soldier and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. With Italy on the way next weekend, Guardians of the Galaxy is guaranteed to ultimately move up to second place for the year ahead of Maleficent ($757 million). Visitant
Anyone see that they are releasing the soundtrack on cassette soon? Apparently the first cassette tape Disney has released since 2003

Mr. Hakujin
2007 me would be stoked. I finally got a car with a CD player and MP3 input in 2008. Also, Maleficent made nearly $800 million. WTF!?!?! Edited October 22, 2014 by Mr. Hakujin
Newtype
Who would have thought a movie about some obscure Marvel Comics characters would outperform Spider-Man, the X-Men, and Captain America? Over the weekend, Guardians of the Galaxy passed X-Men: Days of Future Past to become the highest grossing comic book movie of 2014 at the worldwide box office. In Guardians of the Galaxy’s opening weekend in Italy, the film brought in $3.4 million at the box office. Guardians of the Galaxy has now grossed $752.6 million at the worldwide box office. Not only is Guardians of the Galaxy the #1 comic book movie of the year, but it’s also the third highest grossing movie of the year worldwide so far. Guardians of the Galaxy trails only Transformers: Age of Extinction and Maleficent at the worldwide box office, and Guardians of the Galaxy is likely to pass Maleficent in the next week to move into the #2 spot worldwide.
