I think it would be cool to do like a weekly or bi weekly thing discussing popular posts from the board and hot topics folks around here have been talking about. I don't really know how it would be organized... I'm not the best person to head this sorta thing. And I'm not sure how he logistics for chatting would go. Maybe record the session through a skype or google plus chat session or something?Specifics that can be ironed out later. I'd be more audience material, but it it would be fun to listen to and something to look forward to if some regulars are up for splicing together some audio or videos even. Again I wouldn't really be the one to take control of all of this, it's just an idea that popped in. Surprised it hasn't surfaced since Bindy's cool podcasts. The NZA Posted September 12, 2012 Share Posted September 12, 2012 id thought about doing others here, but kinda wanted to see other chapters go for it - baytor & TX crew kinda made it sound like they'd be down if we visited out that way, but that didn't pan out. if you mean an informal one on G+ that's something, but the ones we did, i took bishopcruz's advice (he's been on a few) and sat down witha general list so we didn't get too off-topic, even though that didnt save part 1. 2 was a lot tighter for having some structure & letting it flow from there, i thought - but do you have that kinda thing in mind, or more a general chat? Someone writes down trending topics (good examples this week would be your E-friendships topic, movie news like the ninja turtles stuff, hyped games/games were playing, and others around). Go down the list and expand on it all and see where it goes I guess. I mention G+ cause that would be a good jumping point. The regulars do the cast from there, and then if anyone wants to do a guest joint one week it'll be nice and easy for out of towners to join in, but I think it would be cool to keep the topics in house- shit that the majority of the board knows about, or that is on the board for easy reference. If you have any questions I can answer them best I can or I can just poke Tony who's usually within 5 feet of me and he can answer. Then again i've been trying to get him on the boards forever. I'm beginning to think that Axel is actually a sentient computer and not a real person because motherfucker lives within walking distance of me but nobody here has met him. It would pretty much be the two of us though if we did a DFW chapter because Rachael would just get drunk and play all the Tori Amos videos and nobody else posts even semi-regularly up in here. I wouldn't be surprised if we crossed paths without knowing it at one point. Probably been in Half Price Books at the same time or something without realizing it.
