Chewtastrophe Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Just saw the first episode of this anime and was pleasantly surprised to see the Trigger studio back at it again (with the white vans) with a very different premise than what I'm used to from them. This anime is going to follow a group of students who all share pain evenly between themselves. I'm digging the themes and the animation style, so I'm definitely going to see where this goes. Quote
Da Cap'n 2099 Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Dude, find out the name of that train/zombie-ish one you told me about. That sounded cool. Quote
Chewtastrophe Posted April 10, 2016 Author Posted April 10, 2016 Here's an image of Kiznaiver, so you can see how much it has stayed close to but has also evolved from Gurren Lagann and Kill La Kill. The post-apocalypse/zombie one I saw is called: "Koutetsujou No Kabaneri." The zombies have an almost "Attack on Titan" feel to them. Quote
Keth Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Both of these sound really awesome. Adding to the list! Quote
The NZA Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 ^same. and i still didnt check out Kill La Kill yet either Quote
Chewtastrophe Posted May 21, 2016 Author Posted May 21, 2016 Just watched episode 7. . . Ugh. So many feels! Trigger definitely knocked this one out of the park - and it's nothing like Gurren or Kill la Kill at all. Quote
Da Cap'n 2099 Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 (edited) This isn't on any of the streaming sites, is it? Is it brand new? Might be on Crunchyroll... Edited May 21, 2016 by Da Cap'n 2099 Quote
