alive she cried Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 (edited) I know this may seem derivative, but Blargh for me is random videos or pictures. This is for facebook-like status', or a mini "so, how the fuck are you doing?" -------------------------------------------------------- That feeling when you've been cooking a stew for hours, sit down and take your first spoon and think, God damn I'm good. Iambaytor Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Wow, I'm sure at the time those four were on an even keel in the music world but now it's kind of like a song featuring Axl Rose, Rick Astley, Lou Reed, and the guy who sang Disco Duck. Quote
Iambaytor Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Coolio's only good song was 80% sampled from a Stevie Wonder song. Also: https://www.youtube.com/embed/406TwfQ2IdI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen> Quote
The NZA Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Coolio's only good song was 80% sampled from a Lakeside song. corrected~ also...yeah, that's a video alright Quote
Iambaytor Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 "Gangsta's Paradise" is a song by American rapper Coolio, featuring singer L.V.. The song was released on Coolio's album of the same name, as well as the soundtrack for the 1995 film Dangerous Minds. It samples the chorus and instrumentation of Stevie Wonder's 1976 song "Pastime Paradise". 1 Quote
Keth Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 That's no sample, it's the same damn song with different lyrics. Not Coolio bro Quote
The NZA Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 "Fantastic Voyage" is a song by American rapper Coolio. It was released in March 1994 as the third single from his debut album, It Takes a Thief. The song later featured on the album Fantastic Voyage: The Greatest Hits. The song samples "Fantastic Voyage" by Lakeside. he actually had a number of good tracks besides that too Quote
Iambaytor Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Eh, that literally is just him rapping over a good song so I'm not sure if I'd even count that as his best song. Gangsta's Paradise at least had some bit of effort and emotion to it. Quote
alive she cried Posted October 15, 2018 Author Posted October 15, 2018 I thought just hit me. If there is life on other planets in the universe (which from everything I've read seems very likely), not a single one of them would have dogs. The universe just grew a lot darker, and earth a lot brighter with that realisation. Quote
