World of Final Fantasy

This one caught me by surprise. I wasn't following this, and was expecting a weird spinoff. And while that's exactly what I got, it was in the best way.

 

This is basically Pokemon, but with Final Fantasy monsters. You catch and raise them while using a battle system similar to classic FF games. It's super fun, graphics look gorgeous and it's exciting to come across various FF references and fan service. My biggest complaint is that the main characters are fucking awful and terribly voice acted. Small gripe though really cause the game is really fun. Also you can summon an adorable chibi Sephiroth.
