Visitant Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Never watched this really growing up, but color me impressed by how much this looks like the animation from the show. Quote
Iambaytor Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 After like a million of these games of widely varying quality, how has it never occurred to them to just do a Marvel vs. Capcom 2 clone before? Quote
The NZA Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 i like how the backgrounds blow up when you block a projectile, that's pretty cool Quote
Little Nemo McFly Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Reminds me of Budokai - "2D" fighter, w/ cool lil' animated inserts between moves...but this looks like a damn anime! It's crazy how much they've been able to use the Dragon Ball Z IP - and still be impactful, like decades later. I've just relatively recently got into the show (a few years back). Of course - not on Nintendo. Damn, early 2018 - if it was out soon, I'd love to get sum matches in when I'm down there in July. Lay the smack-down. Quote
Da Cap'n 2099 Posted June 12, 2017 Author Posted June 12, 2017 Yeah, their Budokai series was, by far, their best in my opinion. It baffles me that it took so long to get back to that. This looks like it'll blow Budokai out of the water, too. Quote
Keth Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 This is the only fighting game that I've ever truly cared about outside Smash now. Looks fucking awesome. Quote
Iambaytor Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Hopefully they still let you play as Mr. Satan with a jetpack. Quote
