The NZA Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 FOX might revive "King of the Hill." The network has had “preliminary conversations” with series creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels about reviving the ‘toon, Fox Chairman and CEO Dana Walden confirmed to reporters Tuesday at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour. “I would like to explore that [further] with Mike and Greg,” Walden added. “Given what’s going on in the country [under President Trump], I think they have a point of view about how those characters would respond. But it was one meeting. I hope to revisit it.” ... Walden was quick to note that both Daniels and Judge “are very busy,” and stressed that the meeting was “a first, exploratory [conversation]…. It’s about finding time [to do it].” Quote

alive she cried Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 (edited) I was just thinking the other day, that I needed to go back and watch King Of The Hill from the start as I only watched it sporadically as a kid growing up. And then Bam! Reunion. The same thing happened with The League of Gentlemen (English horror sitcom from the 90's), I started watching it again recently and thought "I wonder if they'll ever come back?" and then after a google search I see that they've also announced a reunion. I need to put these powers to good use. First up for revival, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace. Edited August 8, 2017 by alive she cried 1 Quote

the division of joy Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Hopefully this will help push it (and the episode history) onto Disney+ in my region (we get a lot of hulu strays as we can't get hulu itself). Excited for this though as I love King of the hill. Quote
The NZA Posted October 28, 2024 Author Posted October 28, 2024 ABOUT THE CHEF Chef Bobby Hill has loved food his whole life. From weeknights around the dinner table eating his mom's "Spa-Peggy and Meatballs," to overindulging in lutefisk at church potlucks, to celebrations with family and friends at Luly's Cafeteria, food and the people it's enjoyed with are the foundation for his best memories. In fact, his career as a robata chef was inspired by his most cherished memory of all—weekends spent grilling with his dad. A self-taught chef and one of the youngest contestants on King of the Grill, Chef Hill believes "good food can solve any problem." He draws on the influences of his childhood by combining classic Texas dishes with flavors from around the world. With Robata Chane, Chef Hill hopes to honor the art of Japanese robata and the German heritage of the Texas Hill Country while pushing culinary boundaries through his innovative fusion dishes. Quote
