Keth
Dead at 74 Younger than I thought he was. I'm just surprised that Carpenter is outliving all these horror icons.

Iambaytor
I've been down on Tobe Hooper a number of times but the man still made The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and so he'll always have a special place in the pantheon of great horror film-makers even though he never came close to living up to it. He still had some good movies that people looking to celebrate his legacy should check out: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Lifeforce, Spontaneous Combustion, Invaders From Mars, Salem's Lot, The Funhouse, The Mangler, and The Toolbox Murders. You can check out Poltergeist as well but I don't think even Tobe Hooper ever thought he directed that movie.
Little Nemo McFly
Texas Chainsaw is an insane movie. Just...insane. LOL! Thanks for the chills, Mr. Hooper. RIP Haven't really followed (knowingly) his other projects - but TCM is a flick I've seen too many times.
