We've been watching this and it's pretty cool. It's basically the Addams Family meets Martha Stewart. It's got silly storylines as a wraparound to segments of baking tutorials.

I watched the first episode. She's not a very good actress...so it was just painful to watch. I did not find it charming. Just embarrassing. Does it get better?

Oh no she isnt a good actress really at all, but it's cheesy fun. The best bits come from the puppets, and she gets better when it comes to the making stuff part.

Just in the trailer alone she seemed like a horrible actress! Shame because the concept and set designs and all that are really unique and interesting! I kinda wanna watch just the baking parts because the stuff in the video looked really cool.

My GF and I actually tore through this show this week and really liked it. Yeah she's not a good actress - or maybe they made her intentionally one note but the puppets made up for it and I really did get a good chuckle several times. 

Its hard to tell WHAT audience this is for (I mean, Dita von Teese is in it) but I think it's worth a little bit of your time if you want something a little more light hearted and baking related for your Halloween.

Agreed. My gf is super into this woman and her "insta" (millennials), but she wanted to turn it off half way through the first episode and I made her finish so I could see that stupid finished cake. Definitely not going to be watching any other episodes, so can't answer if it gets any better. (unlikely)
