Pics from the fully rendered scenes of FFX-2, including a tricksy Rikku, a butt-kicking Paine and a Britney-channelling Yuna. Despite the campy subject matter, it's looking to be some of Square's best looking stuff yet.

Star Fox 2 - In my opinion, Star Fox was one of the best in a long line of Nintendo-exclusive series, and it had a lot of potential to grow. The first two were great spacefighter games, and the recent GameCube version took Fox out of the cockpit in what ended up being a pretty solid adventure game. Sadly, the aptly named StarFox Adventures was the last Nintendo game to be helmed by Rare (then Microsoft bought them out, the bastards). StarFox 2 was handed off to Namco and...I dunno, uh...personally I'm not fond with where they're taking it...

The Movies - A look at an upcoming 2004 game that I'm personally looking forward to. It's a Sims like game that has you as the producer of a movie. You choose the film, the actors, the sets...even the camera angles and content...then you go and shoot mini-movies and trailers.

Yeah, I know, but other than the screenshots I didn't really have anything relevant to add about it so I just put 'em here. I think they're all relatively new, anyway. It sounds like they've still got a ways to go with it so the 2004 release date might be optimistic, unfortunately.

By the way, they're also makin' console versions of it.

Heh, coooool. I'll put up some screens for the upcoming Daredevil game if I can find 'em. 'Til then, Metal Gears.

Metal Gear 3: Snake Eater - A lotta people are theorizing that this is a prequel set in Vietnam, but...I dunno, that's modern lookin' gear everyone has. Sadly no cutscene shots have been released yet. No story details, either.

And then...

Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes - The remake of the original Metal Gear Solid for the Gamecube. I'm impressed with Snake's design. He looks like both the original MGS and the MGS2 versions of Snake. Kinda like a younger version of the one in MGS2.

I've only found two screens from the upcoming Daredevil game. Strange, since it's supposed to be coming out January 27th. But they're pretty impressive screens, nonetheless. We'll see how it shapes up. (It's based on the comics, not the movie, by the way...so there's hope there)

Wow...id like to hear more on that DD game, if its really based on the books. Then again, he doesnt have many good villians that the movies dont use...wonder if the plot's based on any graphic novel.

Im still thinkin MGS 3 is vietnam Big Boss prequel; looks damn good tho. Twin Snakes is really sharp, props to Konami for gettin me to buy the same game again. Heh, he's blatantly checkin out Meryl's ass in that one shot. :D

Oh, trust me, I got lotsa love for that double-bladed lightsaber fun! :D

An' IC, I saw a video preview for the DD game a couple months ago (if I find it again I'll post it) and it showed DD fighting BullsEye and Elektra - the comic versions. Kingpin's in there, too, as I recall. So it looks to have a lot of Miller stuff in it. The game looked alright. It was a darker version of the Spider-man games. Really dark an' kinda grainy - hard to see, though that coulda just been the video quality. Either way I imagine it'll have a lot more polish from when they released that video to when the game is released next year.

Oh, an' by the way, Snake's not checkin' out Meryl's ass. :D If you look closely you see that they've both just noticed the laser from Sniper Wolf's rifle on Meryl's hand. By the way, props to Konami for managing to actually make Meryl look like a woman this time.
