I'm not too wild about the new album. I gave it two straight listen-throughs, and I still wouldn't be able to hum you a part of it, let alone tell you which one stuck with me. None of them didn't. :/

JunkerSeed
Seeing a hell of a show tomorrow! Very glad that Carrie Brownstein is doing more than making fun of Portland these days. The WIld Flag album is great. Super catchy and rockin'. Not a bad track on there. <param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrtaMTYBU-A?version=3&hl=en_US"> Very very pumped to see Mission of Burma. They have no business putting out albums that are still good, but it's all pretty solid and I hear their new one is quite good. I'm finding it kind of impossible not to loop their first record, "Signals, Calls, and Marches" continuously.
Mr. Hakujin
Die Antwoord: WTF...I don't even I think that blonde chick stole a piece of my soul via the Internet after watching that second video. Wild Flag: Not too shaby. Will try and check out more of their stuff on youtube. And now what I really came in here for... Res' album How I Do is in perpetual rotation on my iPod and I realized it'd been a while since I checked in on her. She's apparently been w/ Talib Kweli for the past few years in a colab called Idle Warship. These two tracks off their album are ok, but they really just make me want another Res solo album. http://youtu.be/IqK2TU8nxY8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NR-3riSkqTc&feature=share&list=ALYL4kY05133qscL9fUe19vwpkm0t5DulP
Thelogan
Yolandi will do that to a man. She feeds on souls. I can't stop watching these videos. it's become a guilty (A VERY GUILTY) pleasure. Same here, but I don't feel guilty about it anymore. When I first saw Enter the Ninja, I thought it was just a comically terrible band, but I quickly realized that they're a parody act. They do not, in any way, take themselves seriously. Except they (almost) never break character, so it's hard to tell. After combing youtube and the internet at large for interviews and such though, I eventually found some old videos of Yolandi and Ninja being normal, and actually pretty sharp. Every time I've ever seen the 3rd member, DJ Hi-Tek, I think it's been a different person. This is never acknowledged.

HypnotizinChikns
From what I can understand it's actually three different DJ's. However the original is no longer with the group and the latest one wears a mask when on stage. The guy in the Evil Boy is the second- and he's gay, which came about when people were offended by "Evil Boy". Where the guest rapper tells everyone he doesn't want to be circumcise, by stating his penis was for the girls, and not to touch his penis because he isn't gay. Yolandi and Ninja are married and have a kid. she's in her thirties...holy shit she's too cute to be in her thirties lol. http://youtu.be/cegdR0GiJl4 i fucking love ninja's accent. here's another theory. ninja has tried to create with Yolandi several different 'mainstream' groups. Ninja...could very well be DJ Hiteck. As this video ("Enter the Ninja") kinda sorta suggests, when ninja( **also states, "all these different people fucked into one person"**) puts on the same mask DJ Hiteck wears when touring. in African (and i can claim this from personal experience) the euro-afrikaans have no qualms about the words 'queer' or 'nigger'. it's odd. kinda funny sometimes, but the satire, like any great, is funny because it's true. OMFG> THREE WEEKS LATERS I GETS IT WHEN HE SEZ IN HIS RAP.. "totally HiTeck...NINJA'S BIG IN JAPAN" holy shit that's awesome *DERP* -also i got neged??? fuck off.
