Silent Bob
Hell, I'd buy a hardcover version of Preacher just to get Alamo on decent paper.
The NZA
yeah, what was up with skimping out on the grand finale? id understand if it ended weak, but i thought it was among the top stories the book had. I looked past it, in hopes of just getting it signed one day and not ripping, but alas, Ennis never leaves NY.

Boogie
Are there HCs coming? I've heard nothing and despite having every trade and most of the singles, I'd give not a second thought to buying whatever HC editions they'd release. I dont think so. That was just my wishful thinking... Sorry if I got your hopes up.
alive she cried
WOW, just fucking wow. i have just read the entire series in two days, that's right all 60 issues man fuckin' curve ball after curve ball, and a finish which was perfection the guy fuckin' had balls he did my dream ending to preacher "but yeah i also have a problem with tulip, cass and jesse all dying and returning, Jesse (twice). at least one should have died, actually tulip getting shot should've happened in last issue that would have a been a great ending. if he had done all the love story crap and then killed her i think everyone would be happy." that's a quote from me from preacher's divinty - 17/12/
alive she cried
i had to post some more on this i almost feel high right now, i've spent the last 6 hours straight reading. man o man 4th best vertigo series ever (watchmen, v, preacher) ok it's 08:35 right now i better go to bed
The NZA
Damn, that's a helluva marathon, man! You picked a fine book indeed to do that for. Ive been thinking about which series' are left for me to pick up once i'm hired again, and while it was sad selling Transmetropolitan, Blade of the Immortal and others, there's only a few id really like to own & share, between Vagabond, Berserk, and it took me right to the ending to realize it (cause it was indeed a perfect ending, i also thought), this one hands down. congrats on digging up a Preacher's quote, by the way, sir. Seeing anything outta there that's not spam makes me happy.
alive she cried
yeah preachers is just getting worse and worse, although while i was looking for my quote i did see someone who had posted there about preacher earlier this year, so i pm'd him and told him about hondo's transmet? i'm not too sold on that, i've downloaded everything but i only read the first year 12 or so issues, does it pick up after that?
Jables
If you didn't like transmet after 12 issues I dunno if you would ever. I loved it from start to finish with no decompression or flat moments, right up to Fred Christ geting his at the end of the Chairleg of Truth*. I'd reccomend persevering but I wouldn't want you to waste your time on my sayso. DISCLAIMER: It will not be lied to.
Darth Fluffakins
Thread has kinda derailed I see....Anywho Just picked up and read the last volume of the tpb's for "Y", and I hate to see it go, but damn did it go. Near the end I literally started to tear up, The part with ampersand dying opened the floodgates, good lord the comic was so relentless with the bad news near the end. Still like how it ended though. Don't know if it makes up for the rampage of heartbreak.

Darth Fluffakins
it was fucking brillaint was'nt it? so many twists and turns, you literally had no idea where the fuck it was going I've gotta say "Brian K. Vaughn" is quickly moving up when it comes to my favorite writers. My previous top 3 were in no particular order: J.Michael Straczynski, Brian Michael Bendis, and Garth Ennis. After catching up with "Ex-Machina" and finished "Y:the last man" I really think Vaughan is on the prowell for supreme badass at the moment. Needless to say I'm looking forward to the '08 Eisner awards which he's nominated. What do ya think?
The NZA
i think JMS is an interesting choice; i forgive the spider-man "one more day" thing cause i read the ending wasnt his call. I love him for Rising Stars, Midnight Nation etc but im not sure what he does these days (is he on Thor? i forget). as for BKV, yeah, i think an Eisner this year should be a lock, personally. Bishop swears he's writing up a storm over on Buffy, too.
