Stilly
Reports are coming in that a new single entitled "Discipline" has hit the Airwaves in Milwaukee, Seattle, LA, etc. Oh, and it has lyrics. From The NIN Hotline: Check out these reports, and if your local rock station plays NIN stuff, maybe you should tune in today, or call and ask them if they'll follow suit: Katrina says: FM 102.1 (WLUM) in Milwaukee is debuting a new NIN song today that actually has words. Alexander: a single "discipline" just got released to radio today. it was mastered yesterday. Jim: I was just driving in Seattle and 107.7 The End just played a new NIN song called "Discipline". Nancy: i just heard a new song on KROQ in LA called Disapline. wtf is this about I have not heard anything about a new song with words!!! It appears this song was sent to radio stations across the United States, and most of them played it between 2:30 and 2:45pm Eastern Time, resulting in a bit of a flood of very surprised emails headed our way. The song was mastered by Alan Moulder yesterday afternoon, and turned over to radio stations less than 24 hours later! Full version...still low-quality here... Darth Fluffakins
New Nine Inch Nails! Um...Again!(again!) This time its only an EP, and only one of the songs is NIN, but its a sampler of the different bands they'll be touring with. Kinda neat. The NZA
i never could decide between broken, pretty hate machine and downward spiral.
Thelogan
I love Pretty Hate Machine for it's simplicity and passion, embracing that Throbbing Gristle/Skinny Puppy vibe and improving on it. Broken was fucking metal. For an EP I listen to it a lot. Gave Up remains one of my favorite songs of all time. To me Downward Spiral is a lovely mixture of the electronic sound of PHM and the balls out "actual instrument" rock of Broken. It's great. But The Fragile....fuck. I remember grabbing that the day it came out, walking down to the park and listening to it for the first time. I didn't really care for it. But I kept playing it and it kept sinking it's tendrils deeper and deeper into my noggin. I voted for Fragile. But I will be the first to admit that it doesn't have the best aggression and hatred toward god and the stupidity of the rest of the population, so I suppose I'm posing...as something. The NZA
New Nine Inch Nails single "Came Back Haunted" "Came Back Haunted", a new track from Nine Inch Nails, will debut this week. According to Radio.com, it will debut on U.S. radio stations on Thursday, June 6 at 11:30am Pacific time. KROQ Music Director Lisa Worden told Radio.com, that it "harkens back to early Nine Inch Nails." She said, "I think it’s in line with the first two albums. It’s got a great beat, it’s not the experimental material Trent’s done in the last five years... I wouldn’t say that it’s dance-y, but it does have a great beat, a groove. Trent [Reznor] really brought it with this song"The new NIN album is due on Columbia Records later this year. http://www.craveonline.com/music/art...ed-has-arrived (include download) https://soundcloud.com/nineinchnails...k-haunted-2013 (better quality) "Hesitation marks" tour dates too
The NZA
Came Back Haunted i'm really digging it; it's like Reznor remembered nine inch nails is supposed to be techno-industrial, not a rock thing. hyped for the next. *edit damn, the album leaked! hitting this up soon
the division of joy
The album is a smidge hit and miss at times, but overall, I quite like it.
Thrizzle
I like the direction he's moving in here. Interested to see what else the Academy Award winning Mr. Reznor has to offer on this album.
