MusicManiac Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 Just a ques...is there any way that Hondo's would or it already had tried a file share forum where members can trade, request and or upload MP3's , DVD rips etc? ...just an idea.
The NZA Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 Hmm....well, we used to have an FTP, but we killed it. I set us up a photobucket site but its just for images. Our site only allows @ 300 MB and were usin most of it.....ive been known to send albums & such both in the mail and through AIM, but if we could get some kinda fileplanet or whatever site goin, id be down to trade mp3s & such with whoever's interested...movies are huge, i imagine we'd need to mail discs, which again, many of us here have (ive recieved stuff from MLB, MH, and several others). God knows ive got some movies & anime id put out there. Again, i could host an FTP site like BigChiefSlapaho does, but i mostly got mp3s (various, including game OSTs), lotta comics, porn & some movies. Its not a bad idea at all though, if enough people are interested.
TulipO Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 Hmph. This post mentioned pirates...I was misled.
MusicManiac Posted August 27, 2005 Author Posted August 27, 2005 Ok here's the deal...yeah for DVD rips like (*ahem* ROTS) bittorrent codes /or links at mininova and/or demon with a passcode invite set up are the way to go. Also MP3's (either whole albums or tracks can be easily uploaded via yousendit...limitless. Pictures are best sent through imageshack....since there is no limit there either...
The NZA Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Yeah, Jont & others have been linkin to torrents for a while, mininova's a good place to find em, that and isohunt. what's the limits on gmail again? im thinkin of making that my new email, theyre awesome and way bigger than crap-ass hotmail.
MusicManiac Posted August 27, 2005 Author Posted August 27, 2005 Okay sounds good.... There are shitz loads of free servers for that stuff with NO limit!
