MusicManiac
A Boston-based band, that is a Godsmack/Fuel/Incubus Hybrid type, Dogfight is best described as a young aged, powerful, and uncompromising hard rock band. Their music is as energetic as it is melodic, blending their diverse musical influences to create strong, memorable, intensely emotional songs. The band’s live performance is equally as powerful, physical and intense. http://www.dogfightband.com/ I can upload via yousendit the mp3 if anyone's intersted... After selling over 7000 pcs of their first EP "PUSH", DOGFIGHT is proud to announce the completion of their second EP, "STANDING STILL". The 8 song EP offers a true Active Rock perspective from many different angles. " We wanted to make a record that would show our fans how deep and diverse we really are " states bassist Mike Querci. From the opening riffs of "Breathe" to the vocal brilliance in "My Eyes", to the anthem ripping "Wasted" its apparent DOGFIGHT delivered on their Promise. The EP although titled "Standing Still" comes after a year of anything but that. "We titled this release standing Still because its actually opposite to what we have been through in the last year ", says guitarist Eric Omelia. We played over 100 shows last year opening for major acts like: Disturbed, Puddle Of Mudd, Breaking Benjamin, Staind, Sevendust, Shinedown, Static X, Fuel, and many more. With all the radio support, sales, and shows we have been invited to play, this past year has been incredible, we can't wait to get out and support this next project!! Due to overwhelming demand, "Standing Still" will be an enhanced CD with a collage of 2003 live shows, interviews and exclusive footage shot by video producer James "The Hunter" Tammaro. "Standing Still" was recorded at Prism Sound with producer/engineer/mixer John Ellis. This same combination that delivered DOGFIGHTS "Push" to the masses is once again extremely confident "Standing Still" will satisfy even the most discerning rock enthusiast.
