Acalis
Perhaps you're right, but Bowser Koops as a human with "spiked" hair??? What kind of a f***ed up premise is that?! Well regardless this is one movie that gets my vote as one of the worst!
Ganny McVagflaps
I rewatched Super Mario Bros. not so long ago and I was really digging on it for the first twenty minutes or so and then it went downhill very, very quickly...
The NZA
before or after yoshi? fuck, i repressed so much of that movie, i dont think i saw the whole thing.
Ganny McVagflaps
All the NY stuff was sound. Thinking about it, it coulda just been the first five minutes.
Silent Bob
Yeah, basically once they get to the mushroom kingdom, it just starts to immediately suck. Remember how Big Bertha went from a giant fish to a big fat black woman? That's some quality creative thinking right there.
Drifter
Damnit, I liked the Super Mario Brothers move. It wasn't fucking Gone with the Wind or Spiderman, but it was perfectly entertaining... and I'm not just saying this because I liked Howard the Duck either! the division of joy
pearl harbour... repeatedly... aeon flux the new italian job the descent (just cos of the ending... that shit really pissed me off) the chronicles of riddick (again.. the ending) the constant gardner the assassination of richard nixon kicking and screaming van wilder 2: rise of the taj (dear god that film was useless, such a let down considering i liked the first one) man, there's so much to choose from
The NZA
i cant believe some fuck convinced me to see Riddick, that was shit. haha...the descent? really? i think that ending was supposed to piss you off, tho...
bishopcruz
Riddick was AWFUL, I mean how can you do a movie as awesome as Pitch Black and then descend to the depths of hell with Riddick, the directors cut was even worse.
BigChiefSlapaho
What about that Captain America movie?
Jont
the descent (just cos of the ending... that shit really pissed me off) Refresh my memory, there was some debate here about the alternative US and European endings, now I can't even remember which one I've seen. Talk about the biggest disappointment to all SMB lovers back in the day! Good fuck I want to see this movie again. I mean just look at the poster, it defies explaination, its a holy relic of mid-nineties weird and pre-millenium whatthefuckarewedoingness. I mean there's a tattoo shop in there. Tattoos in the mushroom kingdom? Well I guess it explains where things like this come from.
Silent Bob
Aw I liked the director's cut of Riddick. It wasn't any worse than Pitch Black. But ah well, that's just me.
alive she cried
oh god there's so many, let's see off the top of my head Kickboxer Scary Movie Freddy vs Jason Halloween III but the worst movie ever is No Retreat No Surrender
the division of joy
Refresh my memory, there was some debate here about the alternative US and European endings, now I can't even remember which one I've seen. well both endings really weren't great, the one that kinda sticks out in my mind is where all of it was just a dream.... that was just crap
Drifter
I thought the new Italian Job was very decent. Donald Southerland, Mark Walburg, Seth Green, the guy from Transporter; a great cast all around, it was a solid movie. I've never seen the original so I can't compare, but it was a good movie and I liked it.
Silent Bob
It was. It was exactly what it advertised itself to be - a fun little heist movie. For me, the only disappointing thing in it was Ed Norton. He made it painfully obvious that he didn't really want to be there.
Iambaytor
Serving Sarah. Elizabeth Hurley, Matthew Perry, and Bruce Fucking Campbell. How can you fuck up that formula? Well apparently you can, because they did.
Ganny McVagflaps
Is the answer Matthew Perry?
crimsonfire
The Core (just....why?) Tomb Raider 2 Catwoman (doesnt really count cos i could only stand to watch about half an hour of it) Batman and Robin Hostel (c'mon people dont let tarantinos name blind you to the fact that it just sucked serious balls) In fact so did Cabin Fever (jesus, Eli Roth sucks balls) Rock Star (Mark Wahlberg as a rock singer...eh NO!) 2fast 2furious Trust me i'll be back with more. This thread is better than therapy... EDIT: oh and how could i forget Oceans Twelve. I nearly cried. Seriously.
Iambaytor
Is the answer Matthew Perry? He gets a bad wrap because of that craptacular display that was Friends. But between him hosting Saturday Night Live, his cameo on Scrubs, or a little movie called The Whole Nine Yards. He's proven his grit time and time again. If I was to name the weakest link in that trio I'd go with Elizabeth Hurley be it Bedazzled or many movies with Denis Leary in the lead she's had some godawful films. Drifter
I also take exception to the degredation of Ocean's 12. Again, it was a fine movie; nothing to set any records, but nothing to sneeze at either.
crimsonfire
oh c'mon, the whole "wow she looks like Julia Roberts" thing pissed me off no end. She IS Julia Roberts!!! Was that meant to be funny? It didn't make me laugh anyway. Just another case of celebrities licking each others balls. i always judge sequels in comparison to the quality of the first/previous movie. thats why i hate the matrix revolutions. the division of joy
i refuse to call the third part revolutions.. given there were no actual revolutions in the film... other than the amount of people that walked out of it
