MusicManiac Posted October 22, 2005 Share Posted October 22, 2005 Fox 25 News Boston- Police Try to Determine Celtics' Guard Role in Shooting (10/21/05) — Chicago police are investigating what role Boston Celtics guard Tony Allen may have played in a shooting this past summer. One man was wounded when gunfire erupted during a fight outside a diner. Chicago police spokesman Pat Camden says Allen has met with investigators about the incident. Allen's attorney, Michael Zaslavsky, says he and his client voluntarily went to a police station to meet with investigators Thursday afternoon. Neither the lawyer nor police would say if Allen is currently under arrest. The 6-foot-4 Chicago native is currently on the injured list after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee last month. He was the 25th player selected in the 2004 NBA draft. More to come...
