I really hope the $ shows up soon, SOF - i went through this a few months back; sent $125 to some dickhead in Brazil for a Batman: The Dark Knight Returns slipcase...motherfucker had no feedback on Ebay so i took a chance, he was communicatin & Yahven convinced me he prolly had $ anyway. I bought a playstation 2 on ebay before the first christmas it was out, back when it ws the hottest thing on Earth and people were shelling out like $800 to get one before the 25th. I got a sweet deal of $350 and the bastard never sends it. I went to the bank where I have my credit card, told them, the decline the purchase for me and I didn't lose a cent. The only way I would argee to pay cash is if I happen to see that we lived within a half-hour drive from me, so I could pick it up in person and skip the shipping fees. KOS & SOF - Your donation made it on through, so Yahven went ahead & paid for the new, faster server, as well as the new board (hopefully with some hacks to play with). He's waitin to hear back from em to get it setup, at which time this place'll be shutdown for a day or two. Again, we couldntve done it without your generosity tho, thanks again you two. Ya cant see em, but if you attempt to reply to a thread they posted in, youll see it there, so its not lost. Just wanted everyone to know that we're aware & doin what we can. Amongst the other few, minor bugs are: -You might notice topics on the top of their forum that havent been updated in a while (at least since the transfer) will oddly teleport you wherever the hell they feel like when clicked on; we suspect that'll change soon, as new threads on top seem to behave. -If you cant seem to stay logged in for terribly long, fear not: neither can I. That's right, even the damn admin keeps gettin the boot. Again, were on it. If there's anythin else, dont hesitate to bring it to our attention, either here or by PM's. It's gonna take a wee bit, but this place is gonna be that much better when were done fixing/hackin things. Otherwise, I all seems like it's comign together. these bugs are pissing me off, but I don't think I've found any that you aren't already aware of. I asked you about this before, but now that we have a new board, I'm not sure if it's changed. Is it possible for individuals to customize which 39 emoticons are in the "clickable smilies" thing on the side of the reply box? I don't really use like 80% of those on a regular basis. If I could customize which 42 appeared there from when I'm loggeed on, I could put my more regular ones there. If that could be done, that would be just fan-fricking-tastic. I noticed that the ones there now aren't the same as the ones there before (and I think there used to be only 30 instead of 39, but I'm not sure about that). And it's nice to have them be clickable from the "Show All" link, but they're not animated on that menus. Is that a bug too? Oh well, good luck with the bugs! Mebbe if i have s'more vodka, this'll feel more like "High Noon". ..right. so: 1) The "hidden" posts are indeed annoyin, and youve noticed its (surprisingly) not a conspiracy, as SOF & others are hidden, too. The good news, again, is that they're not gone, theyre on the server, were just havin a bitch of a time showin em. Be patient, were bitchin at dealin with the good folks at Invisionboard as we speak. Or, at least, I am. 2) Oh, now youre just bein a whore. Nah, the clickable smileys onna side are all Lord Yahven's decision, but yeah they will be narrowed down soon. Look for possible new ones to be stolen from Invisionboard as well. C'mon, i renamed some of the "hidden" ones to easier things, if ya use em a lot it shouldnt be hard; if a name's hard to remember tho, lemme know, that can be changed. Meantime, nah its just clickin the "show all" feature. 3) That's as good as any a symbol for our bug war. 4)Yeah, i hate that blue thing as well; wont let me change it yet tho. Shame, i found a banner that fit perfectly, said "get paid to look at porn!". But again, Mr Y intends to redo both the front page/portal as well as our forum logo, possibly skin the forum itself soon. This, as well as the other cool hacks (for spoilers, splitting posts, all kindsa cool shit) are onna way, but we wanna work out whatever bugs we can first; it'd suck to get this thing all rigged and havta re-do it from scrtach 'cause of the "hidden posts" or somethin. Hell, already put a chunk of last weekend into it, so i really hope we can fix it with what we got. Meantime, thanks again for the comments & such, suggestsions & bug questions are encouraged; god knows this thing wouldnt be here were it not for ya'lls generosity. On my own computer, I would change the resolution, but one these damn stupid school computers, the low ass resolution is fixed. But shouldn't they change to fit your screen?
