The NZA Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 Been lookin into this a bit since Red Octane started years ago, never had the time, but now that i can back the games up, im thinkin bout it...found some mini-reviews here. Gamefly - Senshik's brother & others have recommended it, looks like a fair deal at $15/month, or 10-day free trial, with $22/month after that for multiple games at the same time, plus they boast a selection of 3,600+ games (!) and really fast delivery speed. Im thinkin of doing the free trial soon. Intelliflix - Boasts $9/month with a few thousand games, but their plans look a bit sketchy... Blockbuster - Starts at $10/month, but customer service and delivery time dont score as high... Red Octane - been around like 5 or 6 years, they were the origianls at this, i remember seeing them have imports, too....$19/month. What's cool is that these sites often offer a "rent-to-own" feature, where you can pay as you go if you wanna keep it, and get it at a used price....anyone ever use any of these?
MusicManiac Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 As far as older game rental sites go, Blockbuster has the most inventory wise. There are resources nationwide for them to pull from. So they almost always have what ya might be looking for. They also have a "layaway" plan for shit you want to keep plus incentives, like every six games rented, number 7 is free and such. I have had good luck with them, no late fees as well anymore.
