LightningOBO Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 Now Dodge, you gotta admit the Shelby's a cornerstone of the muscle market at the very least in strictest terms of style. I mean really functionality & a desire to spend less than I earn fueling the bloody things is the simple reason I have no interest in muscle cars. I can't think of any cars right now to post but damnit do I need to peeeeeeeee. see? this is why i like Skeet...he has something smart to say...sometimes...
soldier of fortune Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 Nice... very nice... wonder if i could get one imported? Right hand drive?
Jables Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 You know it buddy-boy... They're $80K off the block though, so I dread to imagine what the frieght charges would be. Does your country even allow you to import new cars like that? I know we can't import anything newer than 5 years.
soldier of fortune Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Is that Aus $80k? If so thats...€47k, plus importing charges... We can import new cars, but we get taxed to fuck on them, VRT is a bitch, ah one can dream, sure i could by a mini cooper s works for half the price. Like this little beaut
Jables Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Gunmetal with red trimmings has to be(while the most apropros for a bloodthirsty IRA gunman) the weirdest color scheme I've seen. And have you driven one've those things? All accounta say they're uncomfy as fuck for anyone with meat & bone below their knees.
soldier of fortune Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 i've not driven the works model, but the cooper is nippy luckily i'm not that tall! But it does lack a certain manliness But its fun to drive
Jables Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Ah fuck it man, buy a cabriolet & call yourself metrosexual. Sort Nanno out with a night job so you can go cruising the block picking up southside girls frsh out've the clinics.
Jables Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 So in... Two completely separate car threads, I question SoF's heterosexuality & kill the threads. What can I say other than 'sorry'?
soldier of fortune Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 coolabulla! no harm no foul. i just like the mini... dunno why... Fuck it i want a DB9!
the division of joy Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 why is cnn constantly wrong about cars... neither of them are the best cars of anything... cept maybe the subaru
The NZA Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 Meanwhile, i totally turned Skeeter on to the Jeep Hurricane. its a concept car that i believe looks like a Warthog from Halo. more on things i taught skeeter about
the division of joy Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 Tvr Sagaris.. Top gear style.. the song in the review fits the car so well...
The NZA Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 no comments on my prototype jeep, eh? well, then, this. the good news is that chevy's taking the hypbrids serously now. the bad news is, the volt's looking like this so far: i dunno. im waiting on the hybrids to just start using the old muscle car frames or something, really open the market up.
Jables Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Man I can't find the Zoo article I read from a few weeks back- but the Toyota hybrid concept it showed was pretty slick, including a hubless steering wheel. They reckon they could get it to retail fro under AU40 too...
crimsonfire Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Fuck it i want a DB9! You and me both man Check out this bad boy. The rally GT variety. Green and red go so well on this car. I would marry this car if i could afford one.
the division of joy Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 the koenigsegg ccxr the worlds most powerful production car, and even funnier still, it runs on ethanol... it produces 1018 bhp (more than the ugly fuckin veyron) and is still supposedly as scary as the ccx.... topgear magazine tested one of these with an engineer from koenigsegg and the engineer crashed it into a 6 foot traffic cone and flipped it into a barrier... sounds fun
crimsonfire Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 Speaking of DB9's.... ....I SAW ONE THE OTHER DAY!!!!!!! IN THIS COUNTRY!!!????!! i nearly shot my load all over the person in front of me on the bus.
the division of joy Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 i saw a tvr 350c a week or two ago going to the passport office... i wanted to rape the exhausts
soldier of fortune Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 There's a guy in Navan with a 06 DB9 I'm amazed its not been keyed to death when he parks it on the street! DoJ you'd get the same effect from a vacuum cleaner!
the division of joy Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 unless tvr make the vacuum, its not the same
Jables Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 I loved the Chrysler 300Cs until every man and his dog got one and now I see 'em parked at the train station in Logan.
