BigChiefSlapaho
Great album. If you haven't heard of the Neptunes, they're the top producers in the hip-hop & R&B field for the past 2 years. They've basically done music with everyone from Jay-Z to Beenie Man to Limp Bizkit. Their album flaunts their versatility & taste in good music. Good variety and great all around album. Reverend Jax
Consider me checking it out. I like hip-hop when it's good (not actually a oxymoron, but it can sure seem like it at times).

JunkerSeed
I think I've heard of these guys because Trent Reznor did a remix for them or something, I've gotta check em out, good hip-hop is hard to come by.
Reverend Jax
the only really good hip-hop i've come across is The Roots and De La Soul. I'm probably putting NRED (Neptunes on that list now. I liked 'Brain'.
MyLeakyBucket
JMT, check out some work from Dan the Automator and Del tha Funkee Homosapian. I'd recommend 'Deltron 3030' first off, great band and album of the same name.
BigChiefSlapaho
That NERD album is really good. I had listened to about 1/2 when I posted at first, and now I finished the rest... Good stuff. Not often you can listen to an album the whole way through.
Heartlessbitch
glad to hear it's good.. i was considering buying it.. i saw the video for "Rock Star" on MTV.. and something about it caught my fancy.. has anyone heard about the White Stripes? Reverend Jax
Yeah, i get my mp3s from audiogalaxy and they had an article on them. They said they were good, but I'm getting skeptical of them, they tend to praise anything indie and underground but hate everything mainstream. So I've heard good things, but from schetchy source. DA JUDGE
I've only heard a few White Stripes tunes and from what i have listened to, i think they are quite good. It's a brother/sister or husband/wife band that plays stripped down raw acoustic bluesy and rock tunes sometimes in a nice melodic and mellow way. :approve:
MyLeakyBucket
The White Stripes are pretty huge over this side of the Atlantic now. They're quite good but now mags like NME are slobbering over them (and others like The Strokes, Hives, etc) and ruining any sense of underground appearence they once had.
