Bands that should tour together

Recommended Posts

Hope this isn't destined for the Crap Shack. That said, here's the idea:

List band that you think would be funny if they toured together based on their names. They can include bands that don't exist anymore, would never tour together, or didn't exist at the same time. It's all about the names being funny. Sort of the same spirit as the emoticonizing band names thread. I'll start it and hopefully everyone will get the idea.

112 and 311

Prince and Queen

REM and Dream

The Monkees and The Gorillaz

Def Leppard and Blind Melon (I know, way lame)

Cream and Sugar Ray

Led Zeppelin And Jefferson Airplane

Linkin Park and Marcy Playground

KISS and Lipps Inc

Anthrax and The Cure

Deep Purple and Pink

Phish and the Byrds

And my favorite...Bush and Tool

Get the idea? Have fun!

A little bit, yeah, but you had some pretty good ones in there. The Mamas & The Papas with Ol Dirty Bastard and Korn with a side of Smashing Pumpkins were pretty funny. But your real gem was Seal & Phish. That easily out does my Phish one.

The Beatles and The Scorpions

The Who and Them

Earth, Wind and Fire and Aqua

The Cars and Journey

The Goo Goo Dolls and The New York Dolls

Korn and Meat Loaf

Barenaked Ladies and Madonna

Good stuff KoS. Never heard of Gay Dad, but putting him with Puff Daddy is hilarious. that's one of my favorites so far (just behind Bush and Tool).  I don't know what P.O.D. stands for, so I don't know why it's funny.

Ministry and Parliament (hehehe, I like that one alot too...)

P.O.D. (Payable On Death but the go by P.O.D.) are Christian nu-metallers, hence Faith No More. I thought that song they had 'Alive' was a big hit over there?

10,000 Maniacs and The Stranglers

The B52s and Tailgunner

Spiller and Stain'd

Courtesy of my bro:

Green Velvet and Suede

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and The 60 Ft Dolls

I knew WHO they are, I just didn't know what P.O.D. stood for. They've had 4 hits over here: "Rock the Party" off their first album, and "Youth of the Nation", "Alive" and "Boom" of their new album.

i don't get these

What happened is that they didn't read the first post explaining the concept of the game, and just put band they wanted to see tour together, not ones that sound funny together.

Ice-T and Ice Cube

with Vanilla Ice

Whitesnake and White Lion

with Great White

America and Europe
