What an incredible visual upgrade! I knew the first three were ports of GBA games, but man was I pleasently surprised by the look of this one!! Shuu Takumi does not seem to be involved. he's on Vs Layton though, 5 will be the guy who did Ace Attorney Investigations with Miles, which i still havent really played, so hopeful for both here. Apollo was fun but they really didn't spend as much time building his character, looking back. still kinda hoping AAI2 gets localized one day. I liked what happened to Pheonix in part 4. He was a MUCH more interesting character when viewed through Apollo's eyes. This move just tells me that the developers have resolved to "well, the fans want Pheonix, lets give them what they want" and they never try to mix it up ever again. The NZA Posted September 5, 2012 Author Share Posted September 5, 2012 he was, for that game - but i don't want poker-dealing Phoenix no more, he resolved his story in the last case, so he should get back to work! i wouldn't be against Apollo getting another game down the road, but not before 5 and the Layton crossover, personally. the direction of 5 being the AAI guy makes me wanna play through that one. Since Shun is on the crossover, i feel like it might be time i finally play through a Layton game too. ps oh, mister Raiden-game-looks-great feels conflicted, eh? Vanquish with a sword, sign me up! And you know what, as much as I hated it at the time, I understand (and applaud) Kojima for what he did in MGS2. If I'm brutally honest, my inner fan probablly wants every new MGS to be a thinly veiled reskin of the original MGS. MGS2 was the antithesis of a typical sequel. I am hearing now that 5 takes place one year after Apollo. Hmmmm. Still not sure how I feel about them dropping the 2D sprites, but that was probably for the 3Dness. Got about $60 bones in certificates and gift cards at Best Buy. Might grab the XL in advacne of these releases. Best Buy's also got B2G1 on all 3DS titles.
