Iambaytor Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Oh my god, this movie is going to be so fucking awesome, like Snakes on a Plane awesome. Describing it would just ruin the surprise so here's the trailer: http://www.blacksheep-themovie.com/?detectqt=false& (Quicktime version) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-l93gltkCc
Reverend Jax Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Haha, hope it make it to the USA. If not, I'm a download that shit.
alive she cried Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 That's one o the funniest things i've ever seen "voilence of the lambs" Fuckin' brilliant
Iambaytor Posted January 1, 2007 Author Posted January 1, 2007 Haha, hope it make it to the USA. If not, I'm a download that shit. I think they're at least planning a DVD release.
the division of joy Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 grr, stupid youtube being blocked on my work pc... this is making me want to go home and watch it...
soldier of fortune Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Work, on New Years Day, shit! The only thing more fun than shooting sheep, is shooting crows at close range! Fucking hell that film looks great in a dog soldiers kinda way!
Iambaytor Posted January 1, 2007 Author Posted January 1, 2007 My first thought when I watched it was Snakes on a Plane, but yeah it might be kinda like Dog Soldiers too
Nanno Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 it looks much better than snakes on a plane. although if its anything like it i'll refuse to watch it
Iambaytor Posted January 1, 2007 Author Posted January 1, 2007 Well obviously they're going for different angles, Snakes on a Plane was an action movie and they were trying to play that tongue in cheek, this one is a zombie/when animals attack horror movie which is also being played tongue-in-cheek. I think it looks better too and have the highest of hopes for it.
soldier of fortune Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 i think its the fact that the animal concerned is a sheep, one of the dumbest farm animals, and probably the most placid, unless of course its a ram. You can hit those things on the forehead with a wrench and it'll keep going at you!!
Nanno Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 hmmm sounds like you have an experience you should share!!
soldier of fortune Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 well once when i was on my grand dad's land, my uncle had some sheep and rams on it, we were in the field, one came over and started trying to ram my uncle, so he hit it in the head with a wrench, it kept going! don't go calling animal cruelty now!
Nanno Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 ah damnit, thought something nasty happened you and i just wanted to point and laugh!
the division of joy Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 man.. i wanna see this... and i think it looks very "shaun of the dead" ish... which of course, is a very good thing...
Iambaytor Posted January 2, 2007 Author Posted January 2, 2007 well once when i was on my grand dad's land, my uncle had some sheep and rams on it, we were in the field, one came over and started trying to ram my uncle, so he hit it in the head with a wrench, it kept going! don't go calling animal cruelty now! Yeah I unloaded a loud of bird shot into a ram's face once, and you're right, they don't stop. But the part where the scientist turns around and the sheep just placidly stand there staring at him, I laugh every time. And this isn't the first time that a horror movie has exploited non-violent animals. Like Slugs, and I remember one from when I was young that had rabbits but I forget what it was called.
Ganny McVagflaps Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 Yeah I unloaded a loud of bird shot into a ram's face once, and you're right, they don't stop. If I overheard that on the bus... Good find. That movie looks kick ass.
Reverend Jax Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 So this is opening in the US this Friday in a Limited release. Can't find any theaters playing it in the SoFL area. Shame it would have been cool to catch a good comedy this weekend (read: 'Evan Almighty is going to SUUUUUUUCK!)

alive she cried Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 And this isn't the first time that a horror movie has exploited non-violent animals. Like Slugs, and I remember one from when I was young that had rabbits but I forget what it was called. The Holy Grail? the trailer to this reminds me of the tomacco episode of the simpsons, with the crazy sheep
Iambaytor Posted June 23, 2007 Author Posted June 23, 2007 No, there was actually a movie with killer bunnies that was horror.
the division of joy Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 so yeah, i forgot to post about this film... it was easily one of the highlights of last year... without a doubt
Iambaytor Posted January 16, 2008 Author Posted January 16, 2008 No, there was actually a movie with killer bunnies that was horror. The movie I was trying to recall was called Night of Lepus it was about gigantic killer rabbits
Darth Fluffakins Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 That does look totally great, unfortunately I thought this was a thread about the Chris Farley movie.
