the division of joy Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 i went for drixy, the grail and preacher.... my favorites differ somewhat... Joy Division Clerks Daredevil
alive she cried Posted January 3, 2007 Author Posted January 3, 2007 at first glance i thought you had said daredevil was your fav movie, and i was about to lay into you, but clerks is cool. I prefer mallrats though
Jables Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Oh man, ASC's my new Amber. Clock it kids, I called it. Daredevil was one've the best comic adaptions made, anyone hates on Ben Affleck for no good reason have about as much salt in my book as anyone thinks hating Bush makes' em political. And you don't count Jumbie.
alive she cried Posted January 3, 2007 Author Posted January 3, 2007 I've nothin' against affleck perse. I've only seen him in two movies, Good Will hunting is a great film and he was good in that, but i thought it was accepted as a fact that Daredevil was one of the worst movies of all time Oh and who is "Amber" and what did you do to her?
Reverend Jax Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 I've nothin' against affleck perse. I've only seen him in two movies, Good Will huntingis a great film and he was good in that, but i thought it was accepted as a fact that Daredevil was one of the worst movies of all time You say you've only seen him in two movies, yet you've seen good will hunting, daredevil, and say you like mallrats (which he's in). that's three.
alive she cried Posted January 3, 2007 Author Posted January 3, 2007 oh yeah, and Chasing Amy and Dogma, he's good in those aswell. my bad.
Jables Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 FDB. Chased her off a while back & made peace. She just pissed me off a lot is more the driving point. I'll back off though, I figured the DD-hate was the same hatred of Ben Affleck stops people from liking Pearl Harbour.
alive she cried Posted January 3, 2007 Author Posted January 3, 2007 yeah lets be friends skeet, i promise I'll make it worth your while.
the division of joy Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 my main reason for disliking pearl harbour was because of how badly directed it was... parker and stone hit the nail on the head with pearl harbour sucks...
Jables Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 yeah lets be friends skeet, i promise I'll make it worth your while. Oh I like the sound of that. My faves- QOTSA Clerks 2 Superman Red Son Shit changes like the tides though.
the division of joy Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 i know that feeling.. i was all about qotsa about 2 weeks ago...
alive she cried Posted January 3, 2007 Author Posted January 3, 2007 Superman Red Son, it's a classic did you get to shit into the Blockbuster kids mouth, cos that's what i was gonna offer ya , but if you already did it this week, anything else you wanna try out?
The NZA Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 i hear its pearl harbor that keeps people from liking pearl harbor. ill be back when i can one day decide on the doors or zeppelin.
alive she cried Posted January 3, 2007 Author Posted January 3, 2007 I know it's a tough one. The Doors just clinched it for me. Skeet I'm still waiting your response
Reverend Jax Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Janis Joplin (for today) Fight Club Maus (I & II) Remember, if Maus isn't your favorite Graphic Novel...you might just be a Nazi.
Lycaon Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Right now, its a toss up between Jimi Hendrix and Tom Waits. I'll vote after I've seen more of the movie options, and read more of the graphic Novel options (Any idea what the status of that care package is, Nick?).
alive she cried Posted January 6, 2007 Author Posted January 6, 2007 c'mon man, everyone has to see The Godfather trilogy, Taxi Driver and The Holy Grail and read V For Vendetta, Watchmen, Preacher and Sin City before they die. not that spongebob and arkham asylum are anything but brilliant
The NZA Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 Right now, its a toss up between Jimi Hendrix and Tom Waits. I'll vote after I've seen more of the movie options, and read more of the graphic Novel options (Any idea what the status of that care package is, Nick?). temporarily on hold, sadly. i tried to pass the buck babo at my last party but no one bit, so now im trying to send off like 6 things at once and get it all done in one fell swoop, but i need another paycheck to manage that. More to come next week, hopefully. keep the faith.
