Acalis Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 Well the poll says it all. What do you think, will "Da Bears" win? Or will Peyton Manning and the Colts get their win? You make the call.
soldier of fortune Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 Normally i follow the old american football, but i've only seen bits and pieces this year. I'd like to think the Bears have it in em to win, even by only a couple of points!
LightningOBO Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 OK so I voted that I just watch for the Commercials..but actually I like to watch the game...I dont care for any team in particular; I just want to apprecaite the plays, eat "American" food and drink lots!
Newtype Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 I would like the Bears to win it but I want to see Peyton Manning finally win the Super Bowl.
alive she cried Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 I really feel sorry for ye americans, ye have to watch something like 2-3 hours of commercials if wanna watch ye're biggest sporting occasion. Seriously though my brother is watching it here, it started at 10 and 1 hour and 20 minutes later the game still has'nt fuckin' started. Thank fuck for the world cup there, the game is stopped once for 15 minutes at half time and the rest is the actual game, it's the way to do it
The NZA Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 its cause we make a spectacle of the commercials. its when our marketing people have competitons and shit, and people outright watch just to see em. I hear spots cost in the millions. Youre lucky so far, but i dont expect the world cup'll stay untouched forever, way too much money to be made there.
The NZA Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 I'm the biggest fan of the Colts EVAH Just in case there was any doubt, theyre totally my favoritest team. My mimi people can vouch for this, im all about those...those guys.
MusicManiac Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 How is the traffic down there for the Bowl? I figured all you bastids would be out partying your asses off!
Acalis Posted February 5, 2007 Author Posted February 5, 2007 Well folks, it's official, the Indianapolis Colts defeat the Chicago Cubs in Super Bowl XLI by a wide margin score of 29-17. According to the poll, only one person had cast that vote. Seems the majority (if you would call it that), could care less about the game, or would rather watch it for the commercials instead. I feel bad for the folks who like BOTH the game AND the commercials, cuz then when would you be able to go to the bathroom? Well thanks for voting y'all!
alive she cried Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Man I still have'nt gotten over how perfect your avatar is. Star Trek is so much better than Star Wars it's hard to put into words
soldier of fortune Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 I agree, Star Trek is vastly superior to Star Wars Would've watched this last night if i wasn't working today and had to be on the road at 7am!
Reverend Jax Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Y'all are so retarded. Star Wars is so vastly superior to Star Trek.
Iambaytor Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 I didn't watch it, a fact I admit with pride every year. I find it absolutely moronic that they make an entire day out of a 2 hour game that 90% of the people don't even watch for anything more than a bunch of mildly humorous commercials that they'll all hate in 2 months anyway. If I liked (or even had mild interest) in either of the teams playing I might have watched it, but I don't so I didn't. I'm not going to watch a game I don't care about just because "it's the superbowl."
Ganny McVagflaps Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Well folks, it's official, the Indianapolis Colts defeat the Chicago Cubs in Super Bowl XLI by a wide margin score of 29-17. According to the poll, only one person had cast that vote. Where's my prize?
La Lindsay Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 i dunno. some of my favorite commercials are from a super bowl broadcast....Terry Tate Office Linebacker. Office Space meets the Gridiron: Terrys World Draft Day OSPN Vacation Sensitivity Training Streaker
the division of joy Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 its funny how for about 59 minutes 45 seconds, the bears did absolutely fuck all.... good to see the colts not only win, but dominate them on the pitch and in the stats...
Acalis Posted February 6, 2007 Author Posted February 6, 2007 Where's my prize? Allrighty, here's your prize: My complete admiration and respect and a pat on the back for a job well done!
Ganny McVagflaps Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Horrah! I notice someone else voted after the whole thing was over. Good work.
Acalis Posted February 6, 2007 Author Posted February 6, 2007 I notice someone else voted after the whole thing was over. Good work. Yeah I bet dollars to donuts Choice 3 will get a lot of votes in the next few days
Acalis Posted February 10, 2007 Author Posted February 10, 2007 Speaking of Star Trek vs. Star Wars, get a load of this video I found on Youtube. I'm sure ASC and SoF will get a real kick out of this!
