OK, I'm not sure how many of you watch scrubs, but the "Best Medical Show" thread had 6 votes of Scrubs, so that enough for me to start a poll. I left off dozens of great minor character and guest stars, so if you have a favorite, like Dr Molly or Keith Dudemeister, lemme know and I'll edit the poll.

I really am torn for main character,

JD isn't without his charms, but its as LL says, its up between Cox and The Janitor (who was only meant to be in the pilot but impressed so much they wrote him a major part apparently)

Kelso is pretty cool too...

Scrubs is a great tv show... though rumors are that Zach Braff is being offered huge money to do another season!

In the end i voted Cox and then The Todd

Dr. Cox is indeed awesome but The Janitor is just too good. Almost everything he says is instantly quoteable and a great one-liner. And as far as minor characters go, there's no beating "The Todd"

This has to be one of the toughest polls of all. I love every character on Scrubs enough that I'd rather watch any one of them than the entire cast of most other shows combined. Though I have much (guy) love for J.D. and Turk, you really can't split those two up by voting for one or the other (that's why their matching bracelets say "Turk & J.D."). I'm gonna have to go with Dr. Cox, he's my hero. I still don't know how John c. McGinley hasn't gotten an Emmy nomination for that role yet.

As for supporting characters, I've gotta put the Todd on top. That's what she said.

By the way, did anyone else hear about how the Janitor was set up so that he could be revealed to be a figment of J.D.'s imagination at the end of season 1 if the show wasn't picked up for a second season? (god, that's an awkward sentence, but you get what I'm saying). I think it's well into season 2 before he actually says something to another character on the show.

God that was a great episode.

I had not heard that's great trivia right there.

Cox and Todd, but rowdy was a close second.

Janitor isn't just a character, he's an integral part of the show. He is the show. Purely as a character though, Cox has more. Though he still doesn't have knife-wrench....

Man, all this love for Cox and Janitor. I mean, you all realize that what makes this show so good are all of JD's daydreams fantasies, flashbacks, and narration. Imagine Scrubs without every new female character NOT being introduced in slow motion with a wind machine blowing her hair and blouse? Becasue then we wouldn't have all these:

On the other hand, here's a montage of Cox calling JD girl names:

Meanwhile, one of very few character quiz I actually care about: Which Scrubs character are you?

I told alana that's what we're doing with Cole when he dies though. I went the mainstream vote for Cox & The Todd, though agree it's a toughy between Janitor & Cox- I love seeing 'em go head-to-head and am still fucking waiting on season 5. Suprisingly season 6 is airing in Oz currently but amongst the crappy daytime programming when functioning folks can't watch it.

I dunno how accurate that really is- Note I actually had to answer a tie-breaker as to whether I prefer to call inferiors by girl's names or run things.

Get wit' da times friend. DVR is where it be at! I am no longer constranded by when something airs. I set up timers to record the shows I want to watch, and I watch em when I damned well want to. I am a slave to no network executive's scheduling whims. Don't matter what that white man say. I know who I be! I am Kunta Kinte! From Africa! And there's goin' be another day!

I wonder if anyone else saw Wild Hogs in the theater. There John C. McGinley (Dr. Cox) plays a gay motorcycle police officer. Just imagine Dr. Cox in Law Enforcement. It's hilarious!

I think I might vote for Turk and Ted since they ain't getting no love. Turk's the show's best breakdancer and Ted (along with his band, The Worthless Peons) is the show's best singer.
