The NZA
mal - agreed, they could've taken it all the way & blown my mind. still got darker than i expected, though nowhere near shin megami-level. its hard for me to talk about this without thinking of MGS4, which absolutely clipped its balls off in the end and took everyone who was looking to die AND EVERY SINGLE ONE OFF THEM WALKS OF HAPPY CMON KOJIMA, YOUVE LET MOTHERFUCKERS GO BEFORE. i wanna blame konami cause i heard kojima's balls-fucking-out ending was vetoed by them. youve heard this story, right? supposedly, in the end, Snake & Otacon would turn themselves in, and get executed by the state for treason. i mean, jesus, idve fucking saluted my TV for kojima's wheelbarrow-requiring balls for shit like that. Newtype
I've been reading everything for the last few pages and I must say that Nick comes off like an FFVIII fanboy.

Losifer
Ah. Final Fantasy VIII. As pretty as it was, I could not follow that story as a teenager. Its not till I played it again two years ago where I was just taken aback at the insanity in this game. Intergalactic time traveling witches, moon monsters, obscure flashbacks that conveniently reveal that your entire party grew up together in the same orphanage. Oh Final Fantasy VIII, you rascal. Wait... how did this thread go from XIII to VIII? Someone forget to add the extra V? Edited June 25, 2010 by Losifer
Maldron
NZA knows it's my favorite and always hopes to curry my favor by referencing it.
Newtype
A recent issue of Japanese game magazines Dengeki states that Final Fantasy XIII is finally coming to the Xbox 360 in Japan. What's more, the Xbox 360 is going to be a budget version and priced at ¥4,980 (US$59), which is nearly half of what it cost on the PS3. The game will feature a new "Easy Mode" as well as an English voice option. The game will be released in Japan on December 16, a year after it hit the PS3, under the name "Final Fantasy Ultimate Hits International". Didn't they swear up & down that this game was never going to be on the 360 in Japan So dumbing down this game the first time was enough. The NZA
*shrugs* shit only got challenging on 1 or 2 bosses, and then the last dungeon. reverse FF IV, with them getting the late easy mode?
IceManML
Funny how we were talking about ff13 in ff7's thread... well cant find it for some reason but Theres a rumor that vs13 is waiting on next gen consoles for release... I mean.. that makes like 0 sense doesnt it? that means they would have to remake the game essentially to actually maximize the potential of the hardware in final fantasy style right? I hope it's not true cuz there def will be no remake on a game only half the world has seen.

Maldron
If more people played it to 100%, more people would love it. But it sure didn't make you want to play to 100%.
The NZA
im curious about a Lightning solo game, admittedly. its not like Versus is coming anytime soon.
IceManML
I'll admit I'm buying this game if it ain that kiddy pokaman porn 13-2 was. N mal I couldn't put it any better myself... All that grinding I did and Im only 76%... All that time to spend.. I can definitely use my time to do many other things besides playing the same fights over n over. I'm sure I'm overlooking some sort of exploit that would make life much easier.
Keth
Louis Vuitton *shudders* interviews Lightning. Is it your first campaign? How do you feel to be part of the ‘fashion family’ along with Jennifer Connelly, Michelle Williams, Alicia Vikander? They are in a completely different world. As part of the family, but I have so much to learn to catch up to these radiant women who are light years away from where I stand. I hope that one day, we can share the same stage, that different worlds can come together. But who knows? Maybe that’s ambitious, even for me. Fortunately, I’m not one to give up. One of my strengths is “experience.” I’m no stranger to overcoming challenges and finishing what I’ve set out to do. I can face any kind of trial as long as I remember the following words: “It’s not a question of can or can’t. Some things in life you just do.” What do you think about Nicolas Ghesquière’s vision and his collections? Do you recognise yourself in his creations? Though his style was new to me, the moment I laid eyes on his collection, it was as if I was hit by a bolt of lightning. I knew that with this, people could change. I could change. It turns out I was right. His collection fills me with a sense of serenity and pride. All this time, I thought the only style that suited me was one that mirrored who I was: strong and tough. But I was wrong. He changed the way I see myself. Perhaps I’m finally learning who I truly am.
The NZA
she said something about "a world of strife" i swear to god, Toriyama - shoehorn her into FF VII's remake in anything but an optional useless character (like Cloud in FF Tactics) and there will be problems
