Iambaytor
The closest thing Batman has ever had to a darker reflection was Azrael and even that's reaching.
Mr. Hakujin
Clearly people are running out of things to write about/discuss w/ Nolan's Dark Knight Rises. Newsarama seems to think Heath Ledger's performance of the Joker was inspired by Tom Waits and in particular this 1979 interview on an Aussie chat show hosted by some guy from New Yawk. http://youtu.be/gCSc6E4yG9s http://youtu.be/XcCMCVM-K_Y Um, I guess there are similarities. Thoughts? I know ASC should at least get a kick out of the interview itself.
Dag
That was one of the more interesting interviews I have ever seen. I definitely see the Keith Ledger Joker there. Tom Waits seemed intoxicated as hell.
Thelogan
I can definitely see it. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Hey guys, remember the internet?
The NZA
the real tragedy there is that tim burton never let us get Depp as gambit.
Thelogan
Remember when people (okay, young boys and Wizard) thought Jean Claude Van Damme should be Gambit? Thank god no one paid us no mind. We would have gotten an X-Men movie with him, Dolph Lundgren, Angie Everheart, Tyra Banks and Glen Danzig. Sounds like a blockbuster. The OST alone would have been amazing.Someday I'll look back and see this was the day I lost my innocence Seriously. Get rid of that faggoty staff and just roundhouse kicks all in this bitch. Keth
I think that was shitty direction though.... he could've told that guy "Try sounding more Cajun, we can understand you too well", or something.
