Right, so, we've got a thread for sharing gamertags & trying to meetup online, as well as our clan & such, but i thought we could use one for Arcade titles, seeing who's got what & who's getting what.

Me, ive got Bobmerman, Ninja Turtles, Rez HD, E4 (awesome), N+, Braid, Penny Arcade ep 1, Uno, Lumines!, Pac-Man CE, Castlevania SOTN, and that's it. I should really try Pac-Man again, shit's hard. Also, yet to get a single @#$%in achievement in Bomberman...there's a fine example of being taught you're a big fish in small pond.

Was debating Bionic Commando: Rearmed, but im likely gonna hold out for Castle Crashers soon, one we could all have a lot of fun with once its done (think hack & slash RPG from the people who did Alien Hominid, also awesome). But, just to test the waters & see who else might be down...

Duke Nukem 3D's coming. Even the achievements seem fun:

1. Piece of Cake - 25 Points

Complete "L.A. Meltdown" on any difficulty or in co-op.

2. Let's Rock - 25 Points

Complete "Lunar Apocalypse" on any difficulty or in co-op.

3. Come Get Some - 25 Points

Complete "Shrapnel City" on any difficulty or in co-op.

4. Game Over - 25 Points

Complete "The Birth" on any difficulty or in co-op.

5. Duke's Mighty Foot - 10 Points

Step on 40 enemies after using the Shrinker on them.

6. Looks Like Cleanup on Aisle 4 - 10 Points

Step in a pile of excrement.

7. Shake It Baby - 10 Points

Tip an exotic dancer.

8. Oomph, Uugh, Where is it? - 10 Points

Find 70 secret areas.

9. Alien Maggots are Gonna Pay - 10 Points

Finish the "Hollywood Holocaust" level in under 3 minutes.

10. Gonna Rip Em' a New One - 10 Points

Get 100 total kills in ranked Dukematch games (Online).

11. See You in Hell - 15 Points

Get 250 total kills in ranked Dukematch games (Online).

12. Hail to the King, Baby - 25 Points

Earn respect and get 500 total kills in ranked Dukematch games (Online).

So yeah, i was thinking of letting my live account lapse, but Left 4 Dead has me thinking otherwise. Post what you've got, as well as what you'd be down to play with others. I'm still surprised we havent gotten together for some Uno or Ninja Turtles or something.

Since I don't really pay money for disc-games, my entire gaming budget is spent on Live Arcade and TV shows. I have:

3D Ultra Minigolf

Aegis Wing (which I guess everyone has.)

Alien Hominid

Arkadian Warriors

Assault Heroes

Astropop

Band of Bugs

Bankshot Billiards

Bejeweled 2

Bomberman

Boom Boom Rocket

Braid

Brain Challenge

Carcassonne

Castlevania

Cloning Clyde

Commanders: Attack

Contra

Crystal Quest

DOOM

Ecco the Dolphin

Elements of Destruction

E4

Fable 2 Pub Games

Feeding Frenzy

Frogger

Geometry Wars & 2

Go! Go! Break Steady (A horrible mistake)

Happy Tree Friends

Heavy Weapon

Hexic (I guess everyone has this too)

Mad Tracks

Marble Blast Ultra

Mutant Storm Reloaded

N+

Novadrome

Outpost Kaloki X

Paperboy

Penny Arcade

Puzzle Fighter

Puzzle Quest (Bejeweled RPG FTW!)

Rez HD

Rocketmen

Small Arms

Smash TV

Soltrio Solitaire

Sonic 2

Spongebob Underpants! (It's for my son, I swear!)

Street Fighter 2

Streets of Rage

Tetris

TMNT Arcade

Undertow

Uno

Worms

And the crown jewel of shit: Yaris.

Looking at that list makes me very sad. Most of these games are terrible. I guess I'm a sucker for impulse shopping when I'm bored at 3 am and need more sweet, succulent achievements.

In my defense I went through a period of several months where my 360 couldn't play disc games, the only gaming I could do was Live Arcade shit. I also have a handful of xbox originals that I deeply regret purchasing (except Psychonauts, that games badass).

I would be down for some Uno, plus I have the camera thing so you could all watch me slowly tickle my ballsack.

Gonna get Duke 3D as soon as it comes out. I loved that game. Finger's crossed for a port of Shadow Warrior or Blood.

Me an Metalhearts' husband played the SHIT out of some Castle Crashers that first weekend it was out. Beat it a few times, lvled several characters and had a nice stash of weapons going.

And then it deleted all my data.

I was pissed, but I bit my lip and kicked a puppy and started over. It's that good. Managed to get back everything I lost and then some.

And then it deleted everything again.

I'm all out of puppies. It stinks because I'd really like to play it but PETA won't let me.

And I value my oh-so-fragile whisp of sanity.

Definitely wait for that patch.

Wasted a lot of quarters in Virtual On back in the day. I'm wondering if that one actually stands the test of time.

I've still got MvC2 for the Dreamcast laying around. I hook it up every couple of years and remind myself why that system kicked so much ass.

Definitely gonna buy that one.

Perfect Dark Coming To XBLA This Winter

Microsoft's Larry Hryb just posted a little note on his Twitter account, saying that the original Perfect Dark - originally released on the N64 - will be out on Xbox Live Arcade later this year.

According to Hryb, it's running in 1080p, and will be out this "Winter".

The news isn't surprising, since it's been heavily rumoured for a while now, but still. It's pleasant.

new ninja turtles looks sharp, but im holding onto my points. i was debating Castle Crashers or Penny Arcade 2, but the former i can wait a bit longer on, and the latter...i get the feeling theyll put them on disc later and ill hate myself for buying them this way. plus, i wanna see what else Lucasarts re-releases, and Sam & Max season 2 cant be too far of.

Castle Crashers ate my data and made me start over, twice. CJ and myself spent a furious weekend playing it. I've beaten it several times and got almost all the weapons, starting over is a drag.

Looks like the problem has since been fixed tho.

It's about time I play this some more.

Being back on live is so good. I'm looking at skipping Marvel Vs Capcom 2 because if there's anything Sony got right with their control over the 360, it's fighting games. I have a tonne of points still so I might get Sam & Max or something.

well, summer of games is over - i hear you got one free if you bought all 4. The demo for Turtles in Time looked good but was monotonous even in its one level. i didnt get to play Trials HD yet, but holy shit, Shadow Complex, despite the controversy, is hot to death.

You're basically playing the same voice/look as Nathan Drake from Uncharted, but in a true Metroiodsylvania (think Symphony of the Night design/mapping) fashion. It's 1200 points, which according to MS' retarded-ass point system is actually $15, but i think im gonna get it, the demo had enough polish to convince me its a keeper.

I am LOVING me some Shadow Complex! It really sets a new standard for Live arcade. At 1200, it's an almost obscene steal. Don't tell microsoft, but after playing it, I would have felt money well spent if it was full retail (I'm not sure how may MS points 59.99 would be, but I'm pretty sure it would have a pi in it somewhere...)

Only later found out about the controversy. Mentioned my zeal for the game to a friend of mine (who happens to be gay) and he filled me in. Initially thought he might be overreacting a bit, that Card was only a member of an organization that was anti-gay or something fringe like that. In reality, he's made some pretty inflammitory comments. I guess there's a case to be made for boycotting Card's work, however Shadow Complex is penned by comics legend Peter David, so the outrage may be a little misplaced in my opinion.

I don't give two tugs of a dead dog's cock about supposed "controversy", Shadow Complex is fucking excellent. It's one of those awesome 2-D map filler backtrack explorathons that I love, but no one has made properly in many years. It really reminds me of Super Metroid or Catlevania: Symphony of the Night. It's very pretty as well, all in 2-D, but enemies occasionally come from the background on a 3-D plane.
