Basically give a rundown, to the best of your knowledge, of all the bands you've seen live and how many times. Thoughts and concise reviews welcome! If you have a lot then save some for a another post to keep the thread going. Make it chronological if you can remember dates and years and shit. I know i cant heh. This also includes support bands, local bands and any other band you can think of.

heres mine anywho:

Foo Fighters (3 times)

Nine Inch Nails (1)

The Offspring (1)

Sum 41 (1)

Metallica (2)

SlipKnot (1)

Alice In Chains (1)

Stone Sour (1)

Lionel Richie (1) was working at the venue doing security but was a fucking awesome show nonetheless

Pussycat Dolls (1) same as above except didn't enjoy it in the slightest

Basement Jaxx (1) another on-the-clock one but it was alright

Red Hot Chilli Peppers (1) interesting fact: the concert myself and ross were at was filmed for the DVD Live At Slane Castle

Queens of the Stone Age (1) supported RHCP at above gig and damn near outshined them. Foo Fighters were also there but werent as good as either band. Still awesome though.

I doubt Rage is ever gonna happen for us dude.

I intentionally left out the band you said so I could add some more in time but you twisted my arm:

The Rolling Stones (1)

Faithless (1)

oh and Kasabian! How could I forget. Supported the above. Was pretty drunk when they came on live. Talking like Rorschach. Must go to comics forum.

Director (1) fucking awesome Irish indie band, based not too far from my previous home in Dublin.

i think im forgetting some great irish local bands but i wanna give them some decent attention with links to their sites and such. I'll save it for a special post.

Audioslave (first real gig i was ever at. fuckin' fantastic)

Rodrigo y Gabriela (saw these before they were big, saw 'em in an old church with about fifty other people. in credible gig)

Metallica (fucking epic)

Linkin Park (supported metallica. did a great job getting the crowd fired up for metallica with their horrific performance )

The Darkness (see above)

Riders On The Storm aka What's left of The Doors (One of the greatest nights of my life, i know there was no jim or john. But hearing "Ladies and gentlemen, from Las Angeles California...The Doors" and then the opening to Roadhouse Blues gave me chills )

Pearl Jam (top quality gig)

Radiohead (another fantastic gig, that was the night after pearl jam)

Beck (supported radiohead, pretty good show)

The Rolling Stones (Played a lot of unknown 80's stuff but started and finished strong, paint it black alone was worth the monies)

Black Label Society (zakk wylde's band supporting ozzy, did'nt play enough of his earlier stuff)

Ozzy Osbourne (without doubt one of the best gigs i've been at, he was on top form as was zakk who more than made up for the poor enough bls set)

Tom Waits (best gig ever. 'nuff said)

------------------------

Bands I need to see

Led Zeppelin

Black Sabbath (original line up)

Down

Maná (For which I feel an overwhelming shame, but I was young, living with older cousins and nobody wanted to go to Placebo with me)

Ely Guerra (It was for free and only a little more than a hundred people attended; it was awesome and Ely is just too attractive)

Zoé (Probable my favorite Mexican band ever - besides, that's my girl's name!... well, except it's Zoe, not Zoé)

Los Dynamites (Awesome band)

Los Bunkers (Which I regret)

Austin TV

6 Million Dollar Weirdo (They scared me with their incomprehensible hair and clothes)

The Kooks (Ugh...)

The Flaming Lips (Awesome, awesome, awesome)

Stone Temple Pilots (They came in late, but EVERYONE was singing Plush)

Nine Inch Nails (Trent Reznor really likes his fancy lights and I love him for that)

Pendulum (Didn't know they exist - they're really good live!)

MGMT (Eh...)

Daft Punk (Their suits and the pyramid - need I say more?)

Smashing Pumpkins (The weight of the legends Billy and Jimmy was really evident... bastards didn't play Disarm)

The Hives (Vocal's batshit insane)

The Go! Team (Bored me to tears and they were so noisy I couldn't make out a single instrument. Ninja's a great performer, though)

I think that's it.

The Futureheads

White Stripes

Micheal Buble (2ce - again, shut up)

Tegan & Sara

I would have been able to add SoKo to the list if Sunset Sounds hadn't fucked up the entry.

And heaps of others I can't remember.

With the help of Wikipedia to I'll try (emphasis on try) and go backwards chronologically:

2008

Mixed Nuts (local band)

Cold Weather Fox (local band)

Flogging Molly

Van Halen (the show was disappointingly meh)

Voodoo Fest '07

Rage Against the Machine (so fucking awesome)

Smashing Pumpkins (kinda meh)

Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals

M.I.A.

Spoon

Motion City Soundtrack

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

Various other shows throughout The 2000s:

Incubus

Flogging Molly

A Perfect Circle

TOOL

Iron & Wine

Weezer

Guns-N-Roses

Incubus

Pink & SUM41 (separate shows, but saw both b/c of my gf at the time) :weep:

Rip Slyme (Japanese hip-hop)

Mongol800 (Japanese punk rock)

Andrew W.K.

The Hives

Pearl Jam

Voodoo Fest '00

311

Ben Harper

Eminem

Stone Temple Pilots

Cypress Hill

Cowboy Mouth

Rahzel

Blues Traveler

Various other shows throughout The '90s:

Tori Amos (4 times) ^_^

Guns-N-Roses

Metallica (twice)

311

Cypress Hill

Stone Temple Pilots

Better Than Ezra (great live show!)

Pearl Jam

NIN

PWEI

Cowboy Mouth

Lollapalooza '94

The Smashing Pumpkins, Beastie Boys, George Clinton & the P-Funk All Stars, The Breeders (my first time ever in "the pit"), A Tribe Called Quest, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, L7

Lollapalooza '93

Primus, Alice in Chains, Dinosaur Jr., Fishbone, Arrested Development, Front 242, Babes in Toyland, Tool

And there's a bunch more I'm forgetting. I've been to Jazz Fest about 3 or 4 times throughout my life and they all kinda blend together. I know I've seen Wilson Pickett, Smash Mouth, Dave Matthews & Lenny Kravitz there...mostly it's lesser known artists though.

My list is quite pathetic.

New Kids on the Block- When they came out the first time

Eminem- The Eminem Show

Janet Jackson- Velvet Rope

Awesome

Sarah Brightman- Symphony

I would point and laugh at you openly about the NKOTB, but I've got Sum41 on my list, so that would be more than a bit hypocritical on my part.

Oh, whatthefuck... bwahahakjpuhru!lkjlsjhaklg!
