If any of you would care to watch her play some and interact in the chat with her it would brighten her day more than you can imagine. She's not streaming right now, but when she does its https://www.twitch.tv/nihilana  Also if you like her videos but she streams at times that aren't good for you to interact and watch, let me know and I can relay that to her. I'm her unofficial community manager, granted its a community of 1 at the moment.  EDIT: It looks like, in her frustration last night she marked all her videos private. I don't watch twitch, but she should record her stuff and post it (or just highlights) to yt, if anything to archive them in a different way. Drifter Posted September 1, 2017 Share Posted September 1, 2017 I sometimes watch youtube gamers play, SeaNanners is one I check out from time to time, he's good, has fun, and his regular partners in crime are interesting, especially the one that can do impressions (having Morgan Freeman narrate how he was coming to kill them was awesome). Rabbit's Respawn is another one, he's got insane Stealth Run videos for a bunch of games, Dishonored, Metal Gear, Far Cry, Uncharted, any game with stealth options really. Happens almost every time she plays Overwatch or pays attention to her viewer count while streaming. Honestly she just needs like 5 or 6 regular people active and participating in chat on her streams and she'd be happy. As it is she has friends who all say they'll pass her stream along but don't watch them themselves, or say they'll watch but never do. She could to do more AAA action games or just more familiar games in general; I've never even heard of most of what she was playing. That's not in and of itself a bad thing but if it's an indie or obscure game she needs to do a better job of selling what she's playing; she could explain some of the games background, maybe run it as if it was a tutorial, silence is not a Youtuber's friend. Staying away from RPGs would also be advisable unless she wanted to MST3K the dialogue. Video editing would also help, she'd be able to concentrate on showing her highlights instead of having us spending the first 20 minutes watching her adjust her character's appearance on a 2 hour Mass Effect 1 video. The NZA Posted October 22, 2017 Share Posted October 22, 2017 GAF is/was notoriously picky about registration  (you had to have a paid email & approval still took ages), plus they tolerated no racism, homophobia, misogyny etc...they're about the only gaming community I know that flushed their gamergators, which made me love them despite their shitty & generally absentee owner  this tricky sign up and easy banning fostered generally better dialogue & an actually inclusive gaming forum, but mix these with said shit owner & recent stuff like former mods arrested with child porn and you start to get the hate. all the worst people are pleased today & Tyler may have shat the bed on a $10 million offer for his site with this.  It's crazy disappointing - much of their remaining staff was excellent, and today all but one left. reddit, gamefaqs etc are actual cesspools, so here's to Jim sterling and whatever corners are left I'm the mostly embarrassing fan circles of this hibby. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
