Warren Ellis' original graphic novel, as i recall in '07, took some awards but a lot of youse missed out on it. After clearly doing his homework, Ellis more or less narrates from the perspective of a surly bowman who's group is busy terrorizing the french countryside, preparing for face the brunt of the french army in its heyday. I wont ruin anything for you, but its a fun black & white read with a lot of shit you didnt know, and a battle with #s that make the Alamo & 300 balk. A short, really great read for anyone who digs Ellis, or warfare history. For lack of finding a solid torrent, I'm hosting it here on Hondos for a week. Have a care & grab a copy before its gone. ANd damnit I saw Crecy & despite the spelling difference thought there was a Man on Fire Comic, even if we do need more movie-liscence comics like an arsehole on our collective elbow.
