The Rules - Hondonian Law

For many years, Hondo's played things loose with the rules - as several of you argued, too loose, by operating with largely unspoken "don't be a douche" rules. For a time, this worked. However, now that Hondo's has gone corporate, this is entirely unacceptable, and thusly, in the interest of preserving order and a professional look, the following rules will be implemented.

 

1. No personal attacks - any insults towards another member will cause your account to be banned, in the interest of civility.
   
2. No profanity - Foul language will no longer be tolerated. If you are unable to communicate without swearing, please expand your vocabulary and return, we'd love to have you here!
   
3. No pornography/indecent material - Not Safe For Work material will no longer be accepted in any threads.
   
4. No hotlinking from other sites - As a professional site, we do not allow other sites to hotlink from us, and expect the same.
   
5. No openly questioning administrative policy - I will address any concerns on a case-by-case basis, to preserve structure.
   
6. No spamming, bumping topics, reviving old threads, etc. More on this to come.
   

*also, Hondo's provision 867.5309, clause 42: any member who elects a fellow member for a position of authority (moderation, etc) without their explicit consent, naturally, authorizes them as their legal representative in (1) instance in any other board decision. So say we all.

It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with these bold new policies, as there will be no warnings, and violations will have your account banned.

Please be advised, in accordance with our newly structured membership fees/subscription policy, while older accounts will be temporarily grandfathered in, banned members reapplying for membership will be responsible for member fees at the time of being reaccepted, which will also be handled on a case-by-case basis.
