The NZA Posted May 6, 2009 Share Posted May 6, 2009 so, the first time i heard Musiq was with The Roots in "Break you Off" (a great song), but id not've looked him up if it wasnt for his single years back, Halfcrazy, which i wish i could post here but it wont let me, do click that link if you wanna hear some good R&B though. Dude's done a few albums since, and i usually end up keeping about half the tracks off of them, which is to say they got a lot more going for me than the usual John Legend album, truth be told. Like Lauryn Hill, India Arie and a few others, Musiq's one of the guys i really enjoy seeing make new shit, so finding out he just dropped another album is good news by me. we need more guys that sound like Stevie Wonder these days, and less of the synthesized club shit that's all the rave.
