Reverend Jax
I know this shit is hard, I'm not sure I can decide myself. Here's to hoping Season 5 is kicks it up and is a little more even that Season 4.

The NZA
rickety almost made it, but its hands-down Charlie for me, with the waitress. knowing that's his wife off the show is even better...every time he's gonna leave her a note of some kind, i get happy. Jables
I've only caught an ep or two here & there, but hopefully tonight my torrent for the first four seasons will be finished & I can sink my teeth in proper-like.
Reverend Jax
Man, I really think this is the series for you, man. If you don't like this show, I have to throw everything I thought I knew about you out the window.
Jables
You were right Jax, it was a pretty easy call & fit though. I thought it was a little slow, it had some LOL moments but nothing struck out to start with. Regarding the poll, Charlie takes it so easily. He's the most likeable scumbag in the motliest crew ever. Seriously, if anyone can identify with any one of these characters(with the possible exception of Sweet Dee), then you're a monster. Just bypass the middleman & put your head in the oven. After next week's ep of course. Not real big on the Waitress(although somehow she got more likeable when she got hot), I was so torn between Carmen & the McPoyles. It came down to the deaf/mute sister beating out Carmen's dong FTW. I wanted to wait until I'd finished the 4th season before polling, but damnit I could hold my tongue no longer. Reverend Jax
Now you know what America is really like and what you have to look forward to in a visit. This show is the most accurate slice of American ever caught on film. So at what point did the series really start growing on you? Around the beginning of Season 2? Jables
The first ep(nothing scares gays & blacks like the Irish) had some standout moments, then it was probably Gun Fever, Charlie got Molested, and absolute love, like, the stars shone & bacharach was playing when I saw Dennis & Dee go on Welfare. My favourite episode to date is easily The Gang gets Invincible(green man & the extended McPoyles family win).
Reverend Jax
Can't forget Hundred-dollar Baby, The Gang Finds a Dumpster Baby, Sweet Dee's Dating a Retarded Person and The Gang Gets Whacked.
Jables
Oh god, Hundred Dollar baby was grand, and Dumpster baby was actually the first ep I saw, followed by The Gang gets Invincible.
crimsonfire
Yeah this show wins in every possible method of winning. The characters are terrible fucking people but oh how I love them. I love the little chorus of agreement they seem to do almost every episode. Especially when the idea in question is the worst possibe course of action in the known universe. I went with Charlie. The guy leaves so many unanswered questions though. How did he get through high school being damn near illiterate?! Secondarily I voted McPoyles. One of the brothers looks like a greasy(er), mono-browed Jude Law. Anyone else see that?

Jables
On that matter though- having gone through 4 seasons of goodness, I never saw one slipped note from Charlie to the Waitress. WTF is up with that?
The NZA
me, im referring to the note he leaves when he was missing or something, as well as what he wrote when dennis was running for some form of office. so, so good.

The NZA
yeah that, that never happened, did it? i think i wanted it to happen, but charlie just left notes about whatever. come to think of it, i think that's how he'd win her heart - with a note. this is how MM started
