  3. ‘Party Down’ Revival Gets Starz Greenlight With Six Of Original Series’ Seven Stars Returning no lizzy kaplan is a big bummer here, but there's enough talent to be hyped here! just hoping it handles the inevitably darker tone from time having past in a way that works better than the arrested development relaunches did

  4. I feel like 20 years ago me might be excited for this...I'm not sure if modern me is down for this. My co-host hector says if they could make it about killing officers who go too far and make it relevant to today, he'd be down.

  6. Someone remind me in a few days to reactivate my pledge on the patreon. I let it lapse at some point, and just forgot about it. There was a bit there that I couldn't afford it, but I can now.

  8. I'm ashamed to say I had to drop the patreon for a little while, but Im happy to jump back on now that I'm back on at work full time. I have suggestions, but they are more of the dreamier, in a perfect world, lets all do creative stuff suggestions that I dunno how helpful they'd be lol

  9. I'm happy to pay my chunk as one lump sum, instead of the monthly patreon. I can't remember how much I'm currently paying each month. How many others are currently on patreon besides me?

  10. I think Arrested Development relaunches are a playbook on what not to do for this. And as much of a bummer as it is that Lizzy Kaplan isn't on for this, getting Jane Lynch back in the fold makes up for it a bit I think. I think her not being there might actually be some good humour fodder though as to why Adam Scott's character is still doing the same thing 10 years on.

  11. i get it, but as a kirby fan that went in blind with no expectations...i enjoyed it? i like cosmic marvel though, and for an intro movie, it took more chances & resonated more than, say, a lot of black widow earlier this year

  12. Some of the characters I loved growing up were Morbius, Moon Knight and Hawkeye. It's been a pretty good last few years for baby comic fan me.

  14. kinda down for Predator-throughout-time stories? this one sounds pretty interesting so far, so let's see how they manage to fuck it up

  17. Snagged this for ps4 as soon as I saw it pop up! Finally played it and couldnt be happier. Such a gruesome and seriously creepy game. Hoping to see the rest of the series turn up to play those.

  18. I appreciate Sony's commitment to making the most 2006 ass superhero movies ever. Also taking Michael Morbius, a dud of a character who had had innumerable second chances despite never really being any good and hiring Jared Leto to play him? Amazing casting.

  20. I dunno if it's viable, but a brand new standalone room exclusively for horror content? We've got Sensible Chuckle, perhaps we need a Horror Hole? For creepy memes and pastas? Also just wanted to write Horror Hole. I think it's a good name.

  21. I've always dug Morbius. I remember really hoping he'd show up in that first Blade sequel. After seeing the direction Disney / Marvel is taking Spidey w/ Homecoming - I'm actually pretty interested in seeing what Sony has planned for their take on the Spidey universe. Hopefully, a bit more adult. Adult doesn't mean 'no color' and all 'dark shadows' - but, in content and gravitas. I mean, Spider-man didn't throw a single punch in Disney / Marvel's Homecoming...like, 'Secret of the Ooze' - the Turtles never actually use their weapons. It's reinvented and ai

  22. Nah, I meant make em the Foggy to Blade's Matt or something. And not even in that dynamic. Just a side character that has an arc and stuff that ties to whatever Blade is doing.

  23. ^This (except the Aunt May stuff) I love Morbius. I really do, but this'll suck (heh). Bringing in Morbius as a side character to Spider-Man won't work. A Blade storyline would be your best avenue for this. Whether in movie or show form, him having his own thing is foolish.

  28. So yeah, holy shit this could be amazing. Its one of the handful of comic books I've re-read due to there being so much going on in it. Taika Waititi is making a movie based on Alejandro Jodorowsky’s The Incal comics - The Verge

  29. Is that Spidey original art? I really need to send my Saturn games your way, you and @Newtype can divide them up or something. They're just sitting in my attic currently.

  30. I liked the trailer. It has echoes of the novel The Passage. This is probably one of the few superhero movies that I am actually interested in seeing. I liked Panch's idea about making this a Blade film though.
