  1. Here's all the episodes we've released so far. From episode 2 I've been making custom pixel art each week.

  2. Other issues popped up tonight, had to get ahold of tech support. They fixed it within hours. Icons are back, things seem faster, you can actually see the front page when you're not logged it. I'll check out working on themes whenever I get done with some stuff in the next couple weeks.

  3. Yep. This is straight up way better than the book while still being true to it's essence. It retains Ennis derision of superheroes but does so in a far more mature and balanced way (which is kind of hilarious when you consider how silly this show is). I remember enjoying the book and then just burning out at how cliche Ennisy it became, I returned to it after a long hiatus spurred on by 2t's recommendation to go back and finish it. I did actually enjoy the books ending and Butcher's prequel, but the show is already far superior for me. I'm especially astounded these guys pulled it

  4. I just got my job back, so hopefully I can add more soon! I snagged a 1917 code and put it somewhere...

  5. I still stand by mine if I'm being honest. I don't understand why Nick doesn't have "Big Nick Energy" as his though.

  6. They're in style now apparently! Post some more, I don't know many outside of the tik tok one and ones from Black Flag.

  8. Bringing back all the hits. Sadly Blingee is no longer operational. I've had to resort to other means.

  9. Secured mine earlier today and it should be here Sunday. Aside from my Switch, my last new console was a PS2, and even that was a few years after it came out, I believe. This is certainly the first time I've gotten a console within a couple months of launch. Hell, aside from the Switch my most recent console was an Xbox 360

  10. Hey guys, I broke everything again. Okay, so Invision broke everything again, and I'm just trying to fix it. Currently we're back to the stock theme, but I'll try to reroll the Hondo's themes over the weekend. Also, most of our icons are gone on EVERY theme, and I have no idea why - that looks like a random bug in the software, because it's like, even the twitter logo is gone at the bottom? I'm working on it. Edit: Upon further investigation, maybe not COMPLETELY broken, just the front page of most themes. Icon are still gone tho

  11. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.engadget.com/amp/microsoft-xbox-series-s-xbox-series-s-specs-173036670.html There are some bullet points. Mainly though it looks like the X is more powerful and has a disk drive. S is all digital. 99% of my game purchases have been digital since I bought my ps4 though, so thats not a big issue for me.

  12. So, having only seen GOTG 1 & 2, Black Panther and Ant Man pre Covid, I've been watching through these again in chronological order. Highlights have been Captain America: Civil War, Thor: Ragnarok, Ant Man, Spiderman: Homecoming and pretty much any of the Avengers films have rocked, with Ragnarok being one of the funnier films I've seen in a while. Korg needs his own film. Low-lights have been the first Captain America film and sadly Black Panther (both times I've seen it now) didn't really hold my attention at all. I've only got Captain Marvel, Endgam

  13. Heard a rumor about this a few months ago when it was still called the "Steam Pal" and just thought it was one of those Valve projects that was tossed around and wasn't really going anywhere. The announcement absolutely blindsided me, and I got my reservation on one yesterday. This thing is going to be the ultimate backlog clearer / emulation powerhouse for me

  14. I never made it through the Boys, not first time round, nor when I started re-reading it on my phone after watching the series. Ennis definitely lost his appeal around then. Seems like throughout his career he's had a pixie on each shoulder, one called Bathos and the other Pathos, each whispering in his ear, it seems at some point Bathos bit off Pathos' head and shat down his neck, and that's why we have the Ennis we have today. Preacher (the TV show) was alright, but the comic was great. None of the characters were quite what they were supposed to be, but Jesse himself was the greatest er

  15. I think in terms of pop culture impact, Pulp Fiction is the clear winner. The other 2 have had definite impacts on the 25 years that have followed it, but there's been so many nods, references and influences from Pulp Fiction its crazy. That said, I think Shawshank is the best film of the 3 for my money, but its bloody close.

  16. damn, did we not have a thread for this? search is always crap so maybe i just missed it anyone else playing this? i borrowed space cowboy's PS5 copy, just took down the first main baddie (you know which one) and i'm still early on but it's a mixed bag so far - the demos really give you most of the first act. the lycanthropic bad guys are interesting & the angles they use to sneak up on you when exploring the doomed village helps, you can tell they're trying to channel RE4-but-different vibes pretty much from the title. you don't get much more time in the obligatory mansion

  18. So any chance I can get this "I trust IGN" offa mine? It was funny for at first, but recent events make me look like a fasch apologist or something. "Fuck IGN" is more appropriate I'd say.

  19. godamn, that was violent - this may actually end up being more fun than the 90's one, somehow? i still consider the latter to be one of the most enjoyable video game films out there, but this looks like a blast

  24. I've always been a huge fan of this long running web comic even if I don't get all the most scienc-y jokes. It's amazing what stick figures can do to communicate tone and ideas and emotion with the right context. Today I want to start off the discussion by posting two recent strips that really tickled me. #2341: (https://xkcd.com/2341/) and #2360 (https://xkcd.com/2360/) To me these are quintessential XKCD. They use a quasi textbook graphic presentation with the star chart and the comp

  25. full game! not sure how long it is overall vs the last one, but so far there's nothing here that doesn't feel like a full campaign - you're based out of harlem so the map differs too, i wanna say? i need to explore more, doing all the sidequests for unlocks so far - loving how they incorporated miles' venom/electric sting so far

  26. I waited a few years to dive into the ps4, and I'm very happy I waited. Not only did I get an informed perspective on which console suited me, but I also got a perfected version of the ps4. Along with that I got so many games at severely discounted rates, I only spent over €30 on three games this/last gen, Spider-Man, Fifa 20 and Red Dead 2 (which was my only launch purchase). I've still loads of games left to play and even some from the ps3/360 gen to get around to. Have to say though, that new joypad has me very excited to try it out.

  27. Trailers made it look interesting. I get the overall impression it's good but not great. Now that S1 is over I'll hopefully be able to binge it soon. I believe it's renewed for S2.

  29. yeah, solid price - sony's still being coy about theirs at the moment. i got nothing against the subwoofer design too, i like funky hardware. my question will just be if their studios make more things i wanna play; ive had at least a shelf and a half of OG xbox & 360 games so far, but last gen i passed (so far, maybe when it's cheap!) because i can scarcely come up with 5 or so games i'd really wanna play. i hope that changes next gen.

  30. And to update. How the fuck did Endgame even happen logistically (other than y'know, money). So many incredibly high profile names. Stunning conclusion to a mostly excellent glut of films. Finger clickin' good. Looking forward to what Phase 4 has to offer, Eternals has my attention big time.

  31. this was one of the first things i hit up on disney+ - i used to rush home from school to catch it in the day, and i still swear by the theme music. i love how it nailed arcs like dark phoenix in ways several movies couldn't. anyway, marvel just put out a reading guide for season 4 & i had to post it, love it when they do stuff like this

  33. Nice! I need to start branching out into other genres that I've always loved. Right now I have an odd blend of Prog Rock / Weird Electronica / Metal / Industrial / Herb Alpert. I'm taking the rest of my holiday money to Forever Young on Wednesday, so I'll hopefully have some more awesome then. Until then, it's me and Herb Alpert: Mandatory Agatha Crispy: And the only gatefold I'll ever need:
