i agree with metal heart, alan moore did save swamp thing, and really developed the character into much more than just a pulp charater. sales were bad before moore and when he came in, moores writing brought it into the mainstream of comics. i will admit it did get a little toned down especially with the love story, but moore did keep the horrow element intact while integrating a more ecological and spiritual apect to the character.

King kong was an amazing movie.... i actually cried at the end. what is it with peter jackson and doing these intense close ups of the actors face...... :crunk: the god-damned gorilla didnt have to die... he just wanted to belong!!! anyway, pans labyrinth, also a great movie, but kind of left the theatre a little dissappointed. i really wanted more of a exploration of that other world , an i was really expecting more from the monster with the eyeball in his hands. other than that pans labyrinth is artistically spectacular, and the story was incredibly compelling and heartwrenching. wouldnt mind a sequel.

for anyone thats interested, got this from the aint it cool website. its some guy who has already seen the dark knight movie. it looks credible, and hopefully it is because he had nothing but good things to say. i already read and it had no spoilers in it that i can read, but i didnt want to take any chances and ruining peoples movie going experience. warning though there some specific information from the movie, but nothing like a spoiler. so enter at your own risk.

i know hawkeye comes in much later in the avengers, but i would love for him to make an appearance. and if their going to have hank pym (ant-man) then the'll definitely have the Wasp. Domestic bitch slap anyone? they have to have at least one female in the avengers.... maybe even the scarlett witch.

with the last post being back on april 15. i keep wondering how with only about a week and half away no one is commenting on how great this movie looks. the Visuals and makeup look incredible. except for indy and the guru, this summer is so far pretty good.

On September 18, the gang is back. Dennis, Sweet Dee, Charlie, Mac, and yes... Frank will be joining us in our living rooms, drunk and/or high off their ass, creating controversy and disorder in their wake..... FX is already advertising it.

another flesh eating, blood gushing, woman running in a dark alley running from a horde of zombies, only to fall by an empty coke can movie..... im sold!!!

great now i will never see the movie the same way again.... dammit!!! funny though

a much improved hulk in this movie over the first. much more intimidating an much more angry. it was the unadulterated rage that really made the movie shine.

Hands down watchmen is moores best work. in my opinion watchmen was much more than just a graphic... it is an experience as you explore each of the characters lives ups and downs. - you dont mess with a guy like that

i would love to see takei appear in the film as his father. maybe even a little fencing between the two would be great, only this time shirts on please!!!!
