Anyone who has played Soul Reaver knows Ozar Midrashim. What's lesser known is that it's by the 80s synth pop band Information Society. What's even lesser known though is that the whole album it's from is really great.

Incredible movie. Seriously one of the best action movies ever made. People will lament the long run time, which is fair. But I think it's appropriate given each subsequent movie. Its got just about everything you could want in a John Wick movie, including Donnie fuckin Yen. Just so so good.

We had the Junji Ito Collection, which was a little anthology. Lots of folks weren't impressed by it. I thought it was fine, but definitely not the prettiest thing out there. But Uzumaki? It looks like its gonna be on a whole other level: If it ever gets released... That update was a year ago.

I'm watching this one right now and it's.... Something. Very unsettling and creepy as fuck. It just got me with the strongest jumpscare I've seen in awhile. Its one I can see being super divisive, but if you like something more abstract give it a shot. Like I'm having trouble looking at the screen, its freaking me out in a way movies haven't in a long time.

Lotta drama going on with the voicing situation in this. Originally it was said that the OG actress couldn't come back to Bayonetta because of scheduling conflicts, so Jennifer Hale got the job. Turns out that was bullshit and she called Hideki Kamiya out for giving her a shitty offer, just $4000. Everyone knows how blockhappy Kamiya is. He leaned into that way too hard. Never seen a downfall so fast. People are not happy, and now this: Seriously shitty situation. Dude showed his ass SO HARD. Crazy shit and really disappointing.
